Un charmant petit hôtel parfaitement situé
Très bon accueil et un petit déjeuner complet avec un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Expérience moyenne. Chambre au 1er étage, fenêtre en hauteur avec vue mur, pas trop de lumière dans la chambre. Salle de douche très élémentaire. L'ensemble mérite un bon coup de rénovation.

Das Hotel ist in einem dreigeschossigen Altbau in sehr zentraler Lage untergebracht, es verfügt über keinen Aufzug. Die Rezeption ist nur stundenweise geöffnet, der Zugang zum Hotel über einen Zahlencode jederzeit möglich. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber man sieht ihm das Alter des Gebäudes an. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich früh weiterreisen musste. Trotz der auch positiven Eindrücke ist das Hotel "Boquier" in Summe zu gut bewertet. Es genügt für mein Empfinden von der Bausubstanz und der Zimmerqualität her nur den Ansprüchen für ein ordentliches 1-Sterne-Hotel und wäre auch in dieser Kategorie mit mehr als 4 Punkten überbewertet.

Have to say there are pros and cons
Pro: owners very nice. Location is good. Very near the tourist office so getting to your tour in the morning is easy. Rooms are clean.
Cons: the room we got (room 12) is in the attic. No elevator, steps are small.
We bumped our heads several times and had to crouch while walking to avoid bumping our heads
No free water/ limited shampoo.
Maybe the other rooms are better (i don’t know)
2 star hotel. Maybe that was to be expected. At least it was clean.
Breakfast - 10 euros. (Bread. Some ham. Some coffee. Not much)
If you are a backpacker. Fine. But with 2 large suitcases- we really had to huff it to the room.

No elevator … keep that in mind when booking. Small steps!

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location to easily access the city and transportation. Everyone was welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The room was clean and large and everything worked well. Wi-Fi was very inconsistent and slow, so be aware of that. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Avignon!
