MAS DES PRÊCHEURS

C’était notre 2eme séjour et l’expérience est toujours aussi parfaite. Les chambres sont spacieuses (particulièrement l’ouïe) et le décor est parfait pour une retraite en famille. On s’y sent à la maison, particulièrement avec des enfants en bas âge. Mention toute particulière à la qualité des repas du soir (dont l’excellent tartare de figues du jardin à la burrata) et des petits déjeuners : les mueslis ne sont pas simplement transvasés de leur emballage à un joli bocal en verre, ils sont d’abord rôtis au four avec de l’huile d’olive et du miel! Nous n’avons rencontrés que des familles charmantes sur place et on avons eu l’impression de dîner avec de nouveaux amis tous les soirs. Une vrai déception

Questo posto è assolutamente stupendo!di gran gusto e bellissimo arredamento. Ci è piaciuto da morire e siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti. La posizione è ottima a metà strada tra Arles e Avignone e tutti i paesini limitrofi da visitare. Ottima accoglienza.
L’unica nota negativa è il rapporto qualità/prezzo per quanto riguarda il servizio. Ho trovato i prezzi un po’ alti dal momento che, non essendo un hotel, non dispone di servizi di hotel: non c’è pulizia della stanza, bisogna sparecchiarsi e, se si decide di cenare lì, preparano la cena ma non fanno servizio, devi dunque prendere tu il cibo preparato e poi sparecchiare. Tutto bellissimo, ti fa sentire come a casa, ma prezzo alto per questo, 596€ due notti + 96€ di cena (la cena è un menu vegetariano fisso composto da antipastino, piatto e dolce e se vuoi anche bottiglia di vino).
Complessivamente comunque un’esperienza magnifica, super consigliata!!!!

Good overall but room for improvement.

Rooms - 6
Rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfy. Quite small for a superior room in the countryside and the clothes storage could be better. Our shower was blocked but it was fixed quickly. Very creaky floorboards and thin walls so we were woken up with the first risers every day. WiFi coverage isnt good enough. We didn’t get it in our room. They have a Starlink but that’s for the owners, not paying guests.

Internal Public Areas - 10
Two areas, the dining room and the lounge. Both are very nice. No faults.

External Public Areas - 10
Multiple different areas around the property. You can either be by the pool with others or there are multiple sets of loungers scattered around the property if you’d like to be on your own.

F&B - 5
Breakfast good. Dinner is vegetarian which you’re told on the website so no issue there. Portions though are on the small side and 30 euros for smallish portions of vegetables to me isn’t good value. They have a fly problem.

Service - 5
Rita was lovely, very welcoming and friendly. If this was just the morning it would be a 10. Dinner though isn’t staffed at all and this is where the issues arise. Clearing away your own dishes is fine but at €200 a night probably shouldn’t be the case. Someone ate our dinner one night and no was around to offer a solution. Very poor. You also can’t use the fridge.

4* overall. For 5* improve the WiFi or let guests on the Starlink, fix the creaky floorboards and have someone around during dinner.

PS They have the most friendly cat we’ve met in a while. She will be missed.

Nous avons organisé un stage photo au Mas des prêcheurs, le lieu parfait pour nous accueillir!
Un mas magnifique, décoré avec goût, dans un cadre somptueux :) Nous remercions également Emilie, qui gère la cuisine de nous voir régalé :)
