Another wonderful week. This peaceful haven somehow manages to set me up for the year ahead...just by remembering how to give myself permission to come back to myself . The yoga sessions are so worth getting up for (I am not an early riser!) and Aurore and Ronaldo's beautiful home made cooking is always a feast to look forward to. Above all, it's the gentle kindness and compassion of the team, led by Benoit, that make all the difference. That's not to say there isn't a lot of fun and laughter..just that this is the bedrock on which it stands. And on top of all that of St. Jeannet is a very very beautiful, calm little village.

It is the 3rd time that I participate in a retreat in the Frog's House. The team is amazing, friendly and caring. I always leave with a better understanding of myself and energized to face life.

My friend and I booked a week's yoga retreat by Ali and Benoit and his fantastic team at Frogs House at the end of March to kick off the season. It was an unforgettable experience that we hadn't expected. The location alone in this enchanted medieval village in the mountains of Nice is worth the trip. The Frog House, which is located in the centre of the village, is a lovingly maintained house with several rooms, a communal kitchen and a yoga room. The team around Ali, who organises the retreat, and Benoit, who owns the house and also gives some of the yoga sessions, are kind-hearted and very concerned about the well-being of their guests. You get the impression of being welcomed into a big family. Ali, Benoit and his team looked after us almost around the clock. It was a very warm atmosphere with great and interesting people who came together around Benoit. Benoit has the gift of gathering the right people around him. He is a very interesting and wise man, the conversations and sessions with him were a total enrichment. Benoit started the yoga sessions with us in the morning, had breakfast and dinner with us, took us on hikes and excursions. The team cooked great meals for us and even gave us a cookery course. They cooked vegetarian and sustainable food and tried to use everything. Many things such as kefir and yoghurt were homemade or produced locally. A wonderful, intense and unforgettable experience.
