HÔTEL OZZ BY HAPPYCULTURE

1. No place to sit in the room except for your bed. It can be quite uncomfortable, especially if you have the higher bunk.
2. I was literally deceived by the Booking’s sign ‘very good breakfast’. I mean… it is barely anything really, maybe worth 6 euros, but I would not recommend it, I had breakfasts with much more choice at other hostels.
3. Conditioner was blowing right on me and was making me sick, therefore I had to heighten the temperature, but it was hotter in the room then.
4. Just when I arrived, I was sitting on my bed, my roommate was asleep and cleaners just came in and started vacuuming the floors… When they were done, they left the door open and were talking very loudly. Soo, put the ‘not disturb’ sign if you don’t want such inconveniences.
5. I know it is common, but such a pity that there are no fridges at all! You are also not allowed to eat your own food in the sitting area, as well as in the room.
There are many people who only stay a night so you’re likely not going to make new friends with the light and noise late at night. The bathroom is a decent size. You aren’t able to bring food into rooms and cannot eat downstairs while the bar is open which makes it hard for longer stays. You also don’t have access to a kitchen so this would not be ideal for the budget traveller.
The breakfast was exactly as described and made each morning stress free.
