Le restaurant est bien même s il y avait des longueurs dans le service.

This was an astonishing find, superb hotel with brilliant staff. Very good restaurant, excellent car parking facilities, dog friendly and fabulous breakfast.|This hotel was exceptional value and I imagine most of the clientele had stopped the night before the early ferry/train back to England.|45 minutes from Calais, located just off the motorway. Last minute booking but was very pleased with hotel. Managed to squeeze us in for a dinner as very busy and overall a very good night stay in a good location in our way back to Calais.
Excellent steak in the restaurant and helpful staff

All I can say is, if you are English and speak little French then expect to not speak to any of the staff.

We arrived late in the day on our way back to Calais after a trip to the alps. I had booked an EV parking spot to charge over night.

After several attempts at connecting the charger I could not get this to work. We spoke to the woman on the front desk who understood what we were asking for help with but responded in full French knowing full well we spoke none. No one came to try and help or sort the problem. This meant me and the wife had to travel 30 minutes! To the closest charger.

This is totally unacceptable. We appreciate we are in another country and should know some local language but for a hotel which is located perfectly as a stop off before the ferry we would expect a far more helpful and welcoming staff. The fact that no one was willing to help and that we got spoken to in full French knowing we didn’t speak it was straight up rude.

The rooms:
Pretty ok room. The down side, every room has metal shutters on the windows which are in desperate need of some oil. My wife was woken all through the night from people opening and closing their shutters in surrounding rooms.

Overall, if you want a hotel as a stop off within an hour or Calais then this is great. Just don’t expect a friendly reception.
