B&B HOTEL Calais Centre Saint-Pierre

Great location near the Eurotunnel, only a few minutes away. Parking is always easy there. Easy to checkin late at night by using the code emailed to you. Very clean room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. The room is a bit small but it is perfect for a few hours of sleep when getting the first eurotunnel the next morning. The boulangerie accross the street is also amazing to grab stuff before heading back to the UK

Disappointing Stay – Poor Accessibility and Lack of Basic Comfort

We stayed here for a quick rest before getting back on the road. We arrived at 1:30 PM and were disappointed to find that there were only four disabled parking bays, all of which were already taken. This forced us to park far away, and I had to struggle to get to the entrance while on crutches. My partner had to carry all our luggage alone, which was very difficult.

Once we got to the door, we were made to wait over 40 minutes due to delays caused by the couple in front of us, who seemed more interested in messing around than checking in. It was especially frustrating as I was visibly struggling, but no consideration was given.

The check-in process was disorganised and slow. To make matters worse, we were kept awake all night due to a couple in a nearby room making excessive noise. Despite several complaints and attempts to ask them to quiet down, nothing was done, and we hardly got any sleep.

We also paid £18 for a buffet breakfast, which turned out to be very underwhelming—just eggs, a small amount of bacon, and four types of cereal. There was nothing “buffet” about it, and we felt completely misled.

Overall, our stay was stressful and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here. If you can, continue another 20 to 30 minutes and look for a better option nearby. This place felt like a waste of money and a very poor experience.

Comparable aux autres hôtels de la chaîne. Accueil sympathique. Pratique pour se rendre à eurotunnel, proche de l´autoroute et du centre ville de Calais

Room was clean and comfortable. However, I hope the housekeeping team was not the gentleman I observed in the early morning cleaning in the reception/breakfast area who used the same cloth to wipe the tables as well as the top of the waste bin!
