Bodde på den største suiten her, og var alt i alt meget fornøyd med tanke på hvilken prisklasse det er.

Parkering og tilkomst var helt suverent, personalet meget hyggelig og hjelpsom,
Ryddig og rent rom, rolig atmosfære,
Strategisk lokalisering.

Hôtel ancien à proximité de la gare, dans certaines chambres des petits lits, ma chambre avait deux lits de tailles différentes.
La douche est récente , mais la salle de bains n'a pourtant pas été rénové à 100% , dommage.
J'y ai bien dormi au calme dans une chambre tempéré même si l'hôtel ne dispose pas de ma climatisation.

Ideal place for an overnight stop before catching a ferry back to the UK. Only about 10 minutes from the docks. Excellent breakfast, with tea and coffee served from the kitchen by waitress service rather than out of a machine. Parking is free, but space can be limited. The hotel has lift access to all floors. There is also ramp access outside the front door for people with mobility issues.

Price/performance is very good. Pretty close to the beach-district and with private parking. The family room is grand.

Delightful boutique and traditional, dog friendly hotel in Calais, by the bus station and a short walk into town, passing the railway station enroute, which noise from wasn't intrusive. Reception and bar area is very comfortable to sit in and enjoy a drink. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. There is a lift to the floors. Rooms are pleasant and spotlessly clean with fluffy towels to use. A traditional buffet breakfast, which is optional, is served in the dining room. For dog owners, there is a park you can walk the dogs round 5 minutes away, or plenty of grassy verges towards the castle. For quick sniffs there is grass opposite the entrance. Free car parking outside hotel, or for 13 euro a night, you can use the secure garage in the hotel grounds. Super hotel to stay in when in Calais, and more so if you have time to spend looking at Calais rather than shooting away from the channel.

Very outdated family room with rotted wood in bath. Handheld shower only. I felt itchy the whole time I was there.

Chambre très petite. Équipement dégradé. Chambre bruyante, canalisations qui cognent comme un goutte à goutte... Trop proche de l ascenseur qu on entend très bien. Très difficile de dormir. Impossible d ouvrir la fenêtre, circulation voitures bus et annonce SNCF...
Positif, l accueil et la bouilloire dans la chambre.

Rather gloomy and typically dated - like the majority of older hotels. Staff very helpful. Nice bathroom, ok bedroom. Bed comfortable. No heating, cold room. Hot water ran out halfway through first shower.Mobility problem but despite request for nearest room, sent to 2nd floor (lift) room furthest away! Good bar but no longer runs a restaurant. Didn't stay for breakfast - overpriced for us. One night stay only.

Agréable séjour, personnel très accueillant, chambre propre et bien équipé. Sans doute, je recommande l'hôtel Métropol.
