Great hotel only 10 mins from the eurotunnel and minutes from the train station. Ideal location. Family has been coming here for over 30 years for skiing stop overs and business trips. Very friendly, clean, peace and quiet.Ex value for money.

Love staying here; excellent location behind the railway station, so handy both for Place d’Armes in one direction and the main shopping street in the other.

I loved this hotel--just around the corner from the train station. Couldn't see it until got to the end of the block across from many bus stops. The reception clerk was wonderful--I arrived early after a train ride from Chantilly & had booked the hotel for its value and short distance from the train station. Went for a walk to the fabulous Edwardian? City Hall just a few blocks away to see the Rodin's Burghers of Calais. The gardens were still full of flowers & lovely. I walked back through a very nice relaxing park after buying a super pastry at the shop across the street from the Marie. I then spent the evening relaxing & drinking Jupiter beer in a gorgeous bar area. The street as you approach the hotel seems a bit shabby, as are the hallways in the hotel--but it is clean & the bed is very comfortable. The room has a kettle, the bath a tub which I enjoyed; and a window that opens--wi-fi works great & the huge surprise is that the lobby area & bar are truly elegant...I hope to return...Oh, it is one of the few places left where it costs less to stay as a single than a couple!
