Le Palais de la Berbie, situé juste derrière la majestueuse cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, est un lieu absolument magnifique. L’ensemble architectural est impressionnant, chargé d’histoire, et parfaitement préservé. Les jardins en terrasse offrent une vue splendide sur le Tarn, propice à la promenade et à la contemplation. C’est un endroit à ne pas manquer à Albi, aussi bien pour les passionnés d’histoire que pour les amateurs de beaux paysages. Un véritable bijou du patrimoine albigeois.

Le Palais de la Berbie à Albi est un lieu incontournable pour les amateurs d’histoire et d’architecture. Ses imposantes murailles et ses superbes jardins en terrasse offrent une vue imprenable sur le Tarn. ????????
Il abrite aujourd’hui le musée Toulouse-Lautrec, où l’on peut admirer la plus grande collection au monde des œuvres du célèbre peintre albigeois.

Juste à côté, ne manquez pas la majestueuse cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, un chef-d’œuvre du gothique méridional. ????

Berbie Palace in Albi offers more than just a glimpse into history—it also provides unexpected delights along the way. While initially searching for the garden entrance, I stumbled upon a charming side alley between the castle and the river, offering a pleasant walking spot. Eventually, I found my way to the garden through the entrance near the museum, where the path diverged to the left, leading around the castle towards the jardin. Exploring the palace and its surroundings proved to be an enriching and memorable experience, filled with unexpected discoveries and picturesque views.
