Der Kleine Futé hatte eine gute Nase, als sich sein Weg mit dem dieser beiden Weinliebhaber, Floris und Victoria Lemstra, kreuzte. Château Canet ist das Ergebnis ihrer Begegnung. Floris arbeitete damals im Burgunderweinhandel in Beaune und Victoria in den Weinkellern von Meursault. Die Kombination aus echter Leidenschaft, einer nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung der Weinberge, aber auch einem ton- und kalkhaltigen Terroir, einem Keller mit moderner Ausstattung und Weinen, die in Fässern in ehemaligen Ställen reifen, kündigt eine Selbstverständlichkeit an: Die Weine des Weinguts wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Neben der Mehrheit der Syrah-Trauben hat auch der Chardonnay seinen festen Platz auf dem Weingut. Die traditionellen Rebsorten Roussanne und Bourboulenc, die die Grundlage der weißen Minervois bilden, wetteifern mit den Syrah-Assemblagen (Roussanne und Bourboulenc) um die Gunst der Weinliebhaber. Zu entdecken ist das große Potenzial der Cuvée "Les Evangiles", die in Eichenfässern aus Burgund ausgebaut wird. Neben den Weinen des Weinguts finden Sie hier auch Produkte aus der Region: Olivenöle, Tapenaden, Marmeladen, Honig... Durchreisende werden die thematischen Entdeckungswochenenden wie Wein & Gastronomie, Wein & Trüffel, Wein & Weinlese, Wein & Wein mit praktischen Workshops zu schätzen wissen.

Throughout the planning process, they were one step ahead, anticipating questions before we even thought to ask them, and offering thoughtful guidance that made everything feel smooth and stress-free. This carried through to the wedding weekend as well and put us at ease to enjoy the weekend ourselves. Several guests have named it 'the best wedding they've attended' and I would not be surprised if we attend another wedding at Canet in future given how much fun our friends had in such an idyllic setting!
In addition to a stunning venue, Canet has an excellent book of trusted, tried vendors, which streamlined the process of picking a florist, hair, makeup, music, etc. Anna handled communications directly with several vendors (e.g., transport, catering, furniture rental).

The setting is stunning, with multiple locations that created a magical flow throughout the weekend: a tent in the olive grove for the ceremony, a charming garden for the cocktail, a beautiful outdoor courtyard for dinner, and the Orangerie for the party. Each space was a surprise and created a real “wow” moment as the weekend unfolded.
The accommodations are equally impressive, well-decorated cottages that offered privacy while keeping everyone close enough to feel connected. It felt like we had our own intimate village.
The team (Victoria, Anna, and Melissa) was outstanding. Professional, warm, and proactive, they made the planning process smooth and ensured everything ran perfectly on the day. Their support gave us full peace of mind.
The Château’s recommended caterer, Noémie, was excellent, and the house wines were a hit with all our guests. We also appreciated special touches like breakfast in bed for everyone, pétanque, tennis, and a relaxed day by the pool. Emma, the florist, did an incredible job with the flower arrangements: natural, elegant, and completely in tune with the setting.
A highlight was the private vineyard tour with the owners to start the weekend, which allowed us to connect with the place and its values a true sense of family, love, and craftsmanship. They even prepared a thoughtful gift for our daughter...
Having the family living on the estate gives the place a soul. We felt not only welcomed, but truly cared for.
We wholeheartedly recommend Château Canet to any couple looking for an authentic, elegant, and expertly managed wedding venue.
