It was one of meny visits to Eiffel Tower in December. We climbed up and observed the city under the glumy sky.
Suddenly, the sun broke through the clouds and coloured Sein into golden. It was amazing!

Too many suspicious people, I didn't feel safe at all. Quite dirty, and the traffic chaotic. I expected to see more police on the streets. I think I only saw one police car, without any officers.

Wenn man in Paris ist, gehört der Eifelturm natürlich dazu. Wir haben Tickets vorher gebucht. Deshalb mussten wir uns an den Kassen nicht anstellen und an dem Fahrstuhl ging es auch sehr schnell. Auf dem Turm verläuft sich dann die Menschenmenge. Also auch nicht voller, wie an den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Paris. Der Turm ist grandios gebaut, für die damaligen Zeiten und der Ausblick über Paris natürlich auch.

Park area was closed during the day to protect the grass. STUNNING at night time, especially on the hour when it sparkles and especially the final sparkle. Dont bother going up it because it really is the view itself. Also watch out for solicitors, they are hungry for your money.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in the world! ???????? It’s such an amazing feeling seeing it up close. You’ve got to go up to the viewing platform and check out the Paris skyline ????. Especially at night when the tower lights up ✨ — it’s incredible! Must see! Amazing feat of architecture and definitely take the elevator to the top! Amazing views of all of Paris! Be prepared for large crowds and a wait but definitely buy your tickets in advance!

We lucked out on an evening that was not too busy, even then the lines and wait to make it all they way to the top are long. HIGHLY recommend you buy your tickets online to save time.

And at night it "sparkles" on the hour, very cool to see it up close.
