HÔTEL BOURGOGNE & MONTANA ^{* * * *}

Nowhere on the site did it mention construction going on except in reviews about the stairs. But their entire wellness center was closed. Should be open now, literally the day after we left, ah well. I think with a finished construction they may be back up to their 4star-boasting.

The room selections on the website are also confusing. Their 'Executive Rooms' listed on the main page are ONLY the 'Deluxe Rooms' on the booking page.

The staff was friendly and helpful and even tried to get a plumber/maintenance in to fix the tub and either they eventually got it working about the 4th day or we jiggled it into working. Most spoke English and if not, tried very hard to get a translation going.

The location was fantastic and room 61 comes with a small view of the top of the Eiffel. Maybe others on the 6th floor as well. The elevator was in working order.

I am happy with the stay overall. It's a good little place.

I will say the down-blanket on the bed was too warm for me - maybe I could have asked for a different blanket (not sure if they have but we put the temp down to 19c and even then I was waking up in night sweats.)

I'm all over the place with this review and I'm sorry. It wasn't a bad place. I wanted a Parisian hotel and it delivers on that. I think it might have been more money than it was worth esp. with the Wellness Center down but the friendliness of the staff really made up for it. Replaced the coffee pods and water daily and towels every other day.

Fabulous boutique hotel in Paris. Not in the middle of madness, but very walkable (5-10mins) to sights, metro and an unbelievably good champagne bar down the road. We had a room right next to the lift on third floor and we slept so well - much to our surprise. Bed was very, very comfortable, bathroom large and modern. Good wifi. Breakfast was a big choice, cheeses were delicious. Staff were all, without exception, excellent and polite. Really recommend.

In summary, our stay was a perfect blend of comfort, style, and excellent service. Highly recommended for a memorable Parisian getaway.

Séjour annuel au Bourgogne et Montana à l’occasion des états généraux du droit de la famille à la maison de la Chimie. Suite à une erreur de réservation (de dates) qui m’étais totalement imputable, le personnel de l’hôtel s’est montré très réactif pour trouver une solution.
Un immense merci à la merveilleuse Katie qui a été très professionnelle et aux petits soins.
