Das Hotel wurde renoviert, wobei der Geist des Ortes bewahrt wurde, um authentische Akzente zu setzen, und verfügt über sorgfältig eingerichtete Zimmer;
Sobald man das Gebäude betritt, spürt man die Seele eines alten Herrenhauses aus dem 19. Jahrhunderts. Der Geist der Räumlichkeiten wurde im Laufe der Renovierung respektiert und gleichzeitig modernisiert. Von der Eingangstür bis zur Schwelle der Zimmer vermischen sich die Epochen, richten subtile Botschaften aneinander und kreuzen ihre Unterschiede. Glasfenster, Zementfliesen und alte Originalparkettböden, die alle restauriert wurden, unterstreichen den modernen Stil, der durch authentische Akzente aufgelockert wird. Und dann ist da noch die Arbeit mit den raffinierten und warmen Farben, den Materialien (Wolle, Samt, Tweed) und den für jedes Zimmer sorgfältig ausgewählten Akkorden. Außerdem ist der Empfang gepflegt und herzlich. Und die Frühstücksangebote sind vielfältig und lecker: Detox, kontinental...

From a location standpoint, it can’t be beat - we were close (walking distance for us) to most major “touristy” destinations like the Louvre, Champs Elysees, right off of Rue Saint Honore, etc. and within close walking distance to shops, coffee and breakfast, and bars and restaurants. Of course it’s a bit touristy because it’s so close to major tourist destinations, but the central location was perfect.
The room was beautiful, we booked a Superior room and we had a great window on the street, a large bed, and a bathroom with a tub, large shower (with heated towel rack,) and toilet separate. I see complaints in other reviews about room size, but in my experience with European hotels, this was large and accommodating. The hotel also has a bar area for breakfast, but where you can enjoy a drink or two, which we did before calling it a night several evenings. It helped that we enjoyed conversation with the bartenders!
The staff set our experience apart. They were so helpful, warm during all interactions, and extremely friendly and supportive when we had some stress surrounding some cancelled flights. While we fortunately didn’t need to push our flight another day, they were working with us to potentially book another night if necessary; they also shipped my AirPods that I left in the room back, which I feel not all hotels - specifically internationally - would do. It felt like a boutique experience without being in a massive hotel or with the inflated price tag. This trip was celebrating our recent engagement and it was a nice touch that we had some treats and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us upon our arrival!
We had an incredible time, and we will definitely be back to this hotel the next time we are in Paris!
Absolutely the perfect location, quaint and charming hotel, but even more important is the staff, who are all so attentive and went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable... and even went above and beyond with our special requests, etc. Totally a family-like establishment.
