A lot of classical paintings and a decent impressionist exhibition but lacks the variety of larger musea throughout France.

Quite a large collection of a variety of paintings and some sculpture, including of course some impressionist pieces (with Monet’s Givernay being nearby and one of his iconic paintings of the Rouen cathedral on display). There’s also a room dedicated to Jeanne d’Arc with some lovely and haunting pieces and a fair amount of religious art, as one would expect from a city with such a strong religious history and an abundance of beautiful cathedrals. You can definitely spend a while here (though they kick you out about 15 mins before closing so that they can lock the doors at closing time with no visitors around).

En tant qu'artiste, j'étais très heureux ici. Monet, Caravage, Pisarro, je les aime tous. Passez les voir. L'impressionnisme, c'est génial. Les amateurs d’impressionnisme devraient venir ici.

Très beau bâtiment, visites gratuites pour tous et riche collection, une scénographie intéressante qui prend en compte les lieux lumineux et aux murs colorés, au-delà du musée, c'est même un très beau lieu pour étudier.

The Monet was a bucket list item. Easy to find. Friendly staff and such a pleasant atmosphere. A variety of amazing artists. There are a few paintings that just blow the mind with their size and complexity.
Not sure if wheelchair friendly. The toilets were clean and tidy. Lockers for bags and a curio shop. Well located and has few restaurants in the area.

Très beau musée ,au delà de nos espérances .Ce fut une visite agréable et riche d'enseignements .Nous avons été éblouis par la beauté des œuvres exposées.

Musée avec de belles œuvres d'art, mais il est difficile de pouvoir les admirer car on ne peut pas prendre de recul du fait de la taille des pièces.
