Dieses für das Cap Corse typische "Haus eines Amerikaners" wurde 1853 von einem Arzt der napoleonischen Armeen erbaut und war eine Ruine, als Joëlle und Jean-Paul Pietri vor etwa 30 Jahren beschlossen, daraus eine charmante Adresse zu machen. Zwischen Bergen und Meer ist es eine Oase der Ruhe mit Schwimmbad, Restaurant und Bio-Spa. Sie befinden sich an der Ostküste, 20 Minuten von Bastia entfernt, in ruhiger Lage, mit allen Raffinessen und dem Komfort eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Derselbe Eigentümer wie Les Mouettes d'Ajaccio.

Birgit was the best breakfast host in that she spoke English which was comforting. All the staff is well versed and knowledgeable in all areas of their job. Highly recommend.
The bed, however, was on the small side, and the mattress and pillows have seen better days. A refresh here would do wonders.
The hotel boasts two pools – one larger, heated, and quite inviting, which we used often. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi offered only cold water.
The grounds are extensive and pleasant, with a garden and a winter terrace, where the furniture walks a fine line between "quaint" and plain "old." Still, it adds a certain charm.
Free parking was a lifesaver, especially given the tight parking situation in the village.
The staff at reception is fantastic. Kind, professional, and always ready to assist. Housekeeping, on the other hand, could benefit from some motivation. There's definitely room for improvement there, and it’s the only thing holding this place back from being a stellar experience.
