The hotel itself is perfectly nice, comfy bed and great bath tub, but there is very little insulation/soundproofing and I was battling constant noise from outside the hotel where some unsavory elements where screaming at each other, and extremely noisy trucks of varying kinds, as well as snoring and cell phone use from rooms I shared walls and a ceiling with. Staff was friendly, hotel restaurant was nice and again, great staff.

My Grandson and I spent a great vacation in Quebec City February 25th to March 1st at Hotel Pur. Not only were the hotel facilities more than satisfactory but what made the trip most satisfying in terms of sightseeing and feeling welcome at Pur was the concierge, Jacques, who went out of his way to arrange tours, cabs, bus service information, and restaurant recommendations. Jacques was so very friendly and helpful and was willing to get to know us and thus structure our touring to fit what most suited our interests. Jacques even walked us to the bus stop so we would know where to catch the bus for the Aquarium and what stop we should use upon our return. Would certainly stay at the Pur again.

Points négatifs, le bruit incroyable des nombreux camions qui passe sous ma fenêtre pendant une bonne partie de la nuit. Ne prenez pas de chambre au 2e étage.

De plus, la climatisation/chauffage est tellement bruyant, on a l’impression qu’un immense avion va décoler. J’en reviens tout simplement pas de tout ce bruit, il est minuit 56 et je n’arrive pas à dormir... C’est cher payé quand tu ne peux pas dormir..

Superbe expérience en famille. Les employés sont tous tellement gentils! Du valet jusqu’au gens de la réception et aussi le personnel du restaurant. Vraiment on sent que les gens qui y travaillent sont heureux et on se sent bien!
L’hotel est super propre et le lobby est vraiment pratique pour relaxer devant le foyer.

Seul bémol, la chambre a été refaite en partie seulement après notre première nuit. Seulement la poubelle a été vidée et les serviettes à main changées. Nous avons donc du aller au lobby demander des choses pour se refaire des cafés pour la 2 e nuit. Le lit n’a pas été refait et pas de changement de la verrerie non plus. Ca ne nous empêchera pas d’y retourner!

Bon endroit et près de tout.

Le déjeuner est hallucinant. Émilie est tout simplement extraordinaire quel service. Souriante et d’un professionnalisme au delà de mes attentes. Jasons de l’hôtel. Dès notre arrivée on a eu droit à un service chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont vraiment belles et bien aménagées. Véritable trésor caché de Québec. J’ai déjà hâte d’y revenir.

Everyone was attentive. Great pool and gym equipments. There is a restaurant and a wine bar. Parking garage across the street also one attached to the hotel.

Awesome hotel, well maintained and clean! All the staff is friendly.

We didn't check in until midnight and only had a few hours in town after having a wonderful brunch at Table, before heading north to La Malbaie. Bellman gave us a map and drew us a great itinerary through the city. My wife and I had been before for Carnival a few years ago, but the couple we were with agreed they needed to come back. My wife did leave her pillow in the room after we checked out and it took two calls, as the first call the day after we checked out they said they didn't have it. Turns out the room still hadn't been cleaned yet. Called back later in the afternoon and they had it, so we picked it back up on our way back through.

Super belle vu de la chambre.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They upgraded us to a room on the 17th floor looking across the street at the front of the cathedral, a gorgeous view. We were able to see up to Château Frontenac from there as well as a number of the gates through the fortification wall. A short walk from old city. Parking was very easy and reasonable. The room was lovely, a layout unique to any I’ve ever seen. But the highlight of the entire experience, was their concierge, Denis Bouchard. A retired teacher, I believe, he has also worked as a tour guide, and it shows: we simply asked him if there were any neighborhood where we should avoid walking, and didn’t he open up a map and proceed to lay out a beautiful walking tour of old Quebec, tell us a number of the sites to see, explain things, and tantalize us with insights into a whole bunch of the sites. He suggested a strategy for the steep climb up onto the upper old city, versus a wonderful path to take through the lower old city. Very enthusiastic, authoritative in his knowledge and efficient in its delivery. We cannot thank this gentleman enough for showing his love of this beautiful, special, historic city, and profound knowledge of its singular history in the western hemisphere. I didn’t want to get in the way of other guests who needed his services, otherwise I would’ve enjoyed chatting with him for an hour! He refreshed my memory of North American history and brought it to life with all the ways in which it interacts with Quebec. It was a real treasure meeting him. It was simply a long weekend getaway, but I wound up wishing we had another day or two to spend in Quebec City and the surrounding area.

Great place to stay. Stunning view of a stone church across the street. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Many places to eat within walking distance. Billiard table and large window, to people watch, located in the lobby.

Nous étions hésitants d'essayer cet hôtel après la lecture de certains commentaires mais avons pris une chance. N'ayant pas beaucoup d'attentes, nous n'avons pu qu'être agréablement surpris! La grande propreté de la chambre (merci à Marie-Josée), l'accueil souriant et chaleureux des préposées à l'accueil ainsi que la proximité de plusieurs bons restos font de l'endroit un super choix. Nous y retournerons!

Was there for business travel. Really beautiful hotel and well appointed furnishings including artwork. From the front entrance right through to the room everything was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the touch of bottles of water in the room. Walking distance to some great restaurants which is nice for those of us not with cars
