Wonderful museum with a different, and helpful way of presenting the trends in art and artists themes. The people were helpful and very friendly. I only saw adults walking around the exhibits, but my kids loved it too. The museum has a special tour nap for kids and includes places for the kids to make their own art as you explore the rooms.

Very good museum with large rooms and many sculptures and paintings. Visitors can also watch the people working at the repair of paintings (no photo) and there is a big area for kids and groups activities. Unfortunately there is no late opening.

Musée magnifique. Il contient surtout des oeuvres de peintres flamands, belges, parfois connus (Rubens, Bruegel, Jerome Bosch, Anthony Van Dijck), un peu moins connus mais fort intéressants (Theo Van Rysselberghe, Paul De Vigne, Leon Frederic (repas de funerailles), Xavier De Cock(paysage aux moutons)) notamment de l’ecole de Laethem St Martin (Jenny Montigny, notamment avec le Jardinier)). Lors de la visite, il était possible de voir la restauration de la partie supérieure du polyptyque fameux d’Hubert et de Jan Van Eyck.

Sehr schönes und gut gestaltetes Museum.

Wat een herontdekking. Spendeerden er vier uur en we komen terug. Mooi opzet met mengeling tussen chronologisch en thematisch.
Bizar is bij momenten de audiogids. Soms boeiend, soms eerder oppervlakkig. Maar ook soms tenenkrullend van de pot gerukt en klinkt het eerder als propaganda.

Mooi gebouw, zeer geschikt als museum. Interessante expositie. Leuk dat je kunt kijken naar de restaurateurs die aan het werk zijn.

Molto bello.
Enorme, ha tantissime stanze e moltissimi tipi di riguardi, dall'arte degli antichi maestri all'impressionismo.
Il tutto ad un costo accessibilissimo, soprattutto se si é under 26.

Prachtige locatie. Zalig om al die oudere beeldende kunst te zien in een rustgevende setting. Kunst, architectuur en geschiedenis gaan hand in hand. Blijft een aanrader.

Wanted to see Bosch here, but one of the two paintings was traveling. The other was worth the visit. Then- BIG surprise- this is where the “Adoration of the Mystic Lamb” is being restored and you can watch!!

Entièrement rénové, ce musée propose une belle collection d’œuvres d'art très diversifiée avec des tableaux de MAGRITTE et RUBENS, ainsi que des dessins, croquis et tapisseries dans un bel espace très lumineux.
Une bibliothèque, un café et un atelier pour enfants sont également présents.
