Super nice hotel with amazing staff and lovely rooms. They have a very good menu for breakfast too.

Stayed for three nights with my girlfriend. Kevin and Susan were very hospitable and the hotel is beautiful. We stayed in a large double room. Rooms have high ceilings, all the basic amenities (towels, hair dryer, kettle etc) and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked to order and included every morning- I recommend the Eggs Benedict! It's only a ten-minite bus to the centre. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

Scottish hospitality at its finest! It's a perfect place to hang your hat whilst in town. You'll get a very warm welcome from the owners with a very "home from home" atmosphere. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

A lovely gem of a place situated close to the city centre.
They serve breakfast and can make an additional packed sandwich lunch if required.
The breakfast had a basic buffet where tea/coffee/juice was served along with a variety of breakfast cereals and some fruits. Apart from this you could order a hot breakfast from 6 options.
The owner, Kevin, was there at the breakfast room daily greeting us with a cheery smile and taking out breakfast orders. Special shout out to Kelly who was there to welcome us when we checked in.
The rooms were spacious and clean with lovely bathrooms. The amenities were wonderful and we just loved our stay here

Absolute gem! Lovely rooms, amazing breakfast, and the most delightful and helpful proprietors. The nicest experience I've had in years of travelling. I cannot wait to return, and I look forwards to chatting with the utterly charming Kelly once again. I fully recommend the Ceilidh-Donia to anyone coming to Edinburgh.

Excellent hôtel avec un vrai savoir-faire dans l'art d'accueillir la clientèle. Hôtel familial avec un petit-déjeuner typique élaboré chaque matin.

Amazing place to stay in a truly Indian atmosphere. The Indian food is very authentic, albeit a bit spicy! Loved the daily meditation sessions and yoga classes

Location top, nicht weit von der Innenstadt, aber doch abseits des Trubels. Arthur‘s Seat ist in laufbarer Entfernung und die Busverbindung ist in alle Richtungen ausgezeichnet.
Das B&B hatte alles was man sich wünschen kann, warmes gemütliches Zimmer, täglichen Zimmerservice und das Frühstücksangebot war fantastisch. Die Besitzer und weitere Mitarbeiter waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Lovely stay at Ceilidh-Donia. Beautiful area on a quiet street. A nice 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile and minutes away from Arthur's Seat. Don't forget the breakfast, delicious! Thank you Kevin and Susan.

Absolutely lovely B&B. About a mile from the Royal Mile and Waverly Station. On multiple bus lines for easy transport if you don't want to walk.
Rooms are furnished well, mattress was comfortable (firm base with a soft top). Great water pressure in the shower!
Susan and Kevin are incredible hosts and were available and welcoming at all times. The breakfasts were delicious (try the eggs Benedict for sure!).
