Das Rutland Hotel befindet sich in einem schönen Gebäude im West End und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Bummel durch die hübschen Boutiquen des Viertels und die von New Town. Auch das charmante Dean Village und die Gärten der Princes Street sind nicht weit entfernt. Die Zimmer sind in einem trendigen und glamourösen Stil eingerichtet: bequeme Sitzbänke, Wandteppiche und Tagesdecken mit Blumenmotiven, Spiegel und Kronleuchter, die dem Ganzen einen barocken Touch verleihen. Eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Stilen, die gekonnt aufeinander abgestimmt sind und zeitgemäß wirken.

What an amazing stay! The flat is so spacious (about 70m2) but cozy at the same time, and on top of that there is a fireplace in the living room.
The location is great, in front of the castle and 10min walk from the historical center. There are a lot of restaurants close by and bus/tram stations.

Second stay here which speaks for itself. Cannot fault the apartment or the staff.

Lovely short stay. Lift was out of order but that was fine for us. Staff are so friendly! Great location right in the centre near the Christmas market, gallery etc.

I booked a surprise trip for my boyfriend's birthday and didn't know which hotel to pick as it was our first time in Edinburgh in a while, and I am so grateful that I picked the Rutland as it was better than I could have imagined! I rang the hotel to ask if there was anything they could do to make the birthday trip more special, and the hotel certainly delivered by upgrading us to an apartment, which was beautifully decorated, comfortable and all around amazing. The hotel catered to our every need, let us leave our bags at the reception until our room was ready and until we were ready to leave in the afternoon as check out was 11am. The location was central and only a 10 minute walk from the Christmas Markets and was essentially on Princes Street so shopping was close. Everything was perfect and exceeded expectations, and my boyfriend had the best birthday ever thanks to the Rutland.
