HOTEL SASSI ^{* * *}

Every room is different! Wonderful views from the terraces and from somecrooms. Very atmospheric and a breakfast fit for a king!

Situato all'interno del Sasso Baresano, l'hotel è uno dei migliori presenti nel centro storico di Matera. Per la geografia angusta del territorio, è raggiungibile solamente a piedi da Piazza San Giovanni (150m), comprende diverse tipologie di camere, più o meno panoramiche e di diversa grandezza e distanza dalla hall. Ambiente rilassante e tranquillo, con panorama mozzafiato. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile nel venir incontro alle nostre esigenze.

I recently stayed at Sassi Hotel - Matera and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation and updating - the furniture is old and creaky, and the decor is tired and outdated.

But the real issues began when I entered my room. The cleanliness was appalling - there was dust and dirt everywhere, and the bedding was stained and worn out. I even found a spider crawling on the bed! The bathroom was no better, with mold growing on the walls and a perpetual musty smell.

The breakfast was also extremely basic, with a limited selection of stale pastries and overcooked eggs. And to top it all off, the service was unfriendly and unhelpful.

I was really looking forward to exploring Matera, but the Sassi Hotel's subpar conditions and service made my stay a complete disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I hope they take the necessary steps to improve the conditions and service.

Abbiamo soggiornato a metà Marzo in questo hotel davvero particolare ricavato nei veri Sassi di Matera in una splendida posizione. Tutto era perfetto: il personale tutto cortese e disponibile, e il titolare ammirevole per avere saputo creare questa struttura così ben inserita nel contesto storico di questa magica località.

Incantevole posizione vista mozzafiato personale attento e scrupoloso camera bella e confortevole con una terrazza magnifica prezzi nella norma ma ne vale la pena
