We arrived at the place with snowmobile, the place is nice but it seems that the arrival via the trip by snowmobile somewhat detracts from the beauty of the place and the service - there are scheduled times for each group, so it was a bit disappointing. Reindeer sledding took place in a short circular route of 3-5 minutes.

2 min Schlittenfahrt , 5 min 4 Renntiere füttern, 15 min Kaffee oder Tee trinken. Für mich sehr enttäuschend. Personal nicht sehr freundlich. Polarkreistaufe banal.....

非常好的麋鹿雪橇經驗，我選了最短旅程的1.5KM體驗，一開始可以餵麋鹿，帶領我們的host非常親切並且很詳盡的解說有關於他們飼養麋鹿的故事，牧場很乾淨

The staff is not friendly N the attitude is a bit arrogant though reindeer ride is new for us. But they are very slow!

Nous avons passé une super matinée en compagnie des rennes dans une forêt enneigée! Une balade en luge bien sympathique, puis nous leur avons donné à manger ! Enfin nous avons pu prendre un thé et un café chaud avec de délicieux cookies tout en écoutant notre guide nous raconter l’histoire des rennes , de la ferme. Le guide était top! Hyper gentil et bienveillant et nous avons adoré l’écouter !
Merci pour ce moment extraordinaire coupé du temps!

Fun experience! It was nice to ride a reindeer for 5 min... and to get a special driving licence for it. Amazing landscape around and really great team of people working there. Definitely recommended

Esperienza tramite safartica. Carina la zona, gentili i proprietari..ti spiegano un pò delle renne e ti fanno fare un brevissimo giro di un minuto e mezzo circa(che peccato non hanno ben spiegato)..tè caldo e biscotti dopo il breve giro e alla fine abbiamo visto i cuccioli e dato loro un pò di licheni..molto carini

Must visit when in Rovaniemi. Very beautiful place, with its long history. Cool adventure when dashing through the snow in a one deer open sleigh) short distanse is quite enough when with kids. Like a winter fairytale, I highly recommend

The pros : nice location inside the Finnish forest
The cons : poor signage. After parking on the main road, we had to guess how to get to the actual farm by following other groups. When arriving on site and close to the reindeer, I was first mistaken for being the leader of the group. Once I clarified that I was a “walk-in” trying my luck to visit the farm, I was rudely turned down, explained that I shouldn’t touch the reindeer, and that I had no right to be in that location without a booking. Staff added that no booking was available for several weeks anyways.

Amazing! Absolutely loved our 3km reindeer sleigh ride today. Small group of only 4 sleighs so it didn't feel commercialised.
Feeding the reindeer to start with was a very special experience.
The reindeer driving licence my eldest thought was great!
The information, question and answers after was relaxed and very informative with drinks and biscuits.
When we return, we'll return here too!

If you don't see this reindeer farm, you don't see anything in Rovaniemi. It's the first and oldest reindeer farm, absolute amazing and traditional Lappish buildings. You can see the years passing by to the more of them. The ceremonies are something between mysterious and amazing and the traditional Shaman is wonderful. The reindeer are so friendly animals, and the owner of the farm respect them as humans and loves them. She is - if i remember right, the third generation that works this farm and feels like belongs to this place. All of the staff can transfer to you the respect of the nature. The prices aren't to high and are very normal, and cheap if you compare them with other facilities. It food was tastefully and as i could saw the kitchen was absolute clean. I saw also winter photos of the area, and i will go also at winter, but i believe off season it's better.

Une visite sans grand intérêt. 40E pour nourrir 5 min des rennes et 5 min de traineau ca ne vaut pas le coup ! Les rennes n'ont pas l'air très heureux. Le guide était sympa et les explications intéressantes.

Es war ein toller Besuch auf dieser Rentierfarm.
Absolut wunderschöner Ort mit super netten Menschen. Die Tiere waren sehr gepflegt, keine Massenabfertigung. Uns wurde sehr viel über Rentiere erzählt und jede Frage freundlich beantwortet. Die Schlittenfahrt war großartig durch den verschneiten Wald. Im Anschluss gab es Tee und Gebäck und noch weitere Infos über Lappland und Rentiere. Absolute Empfehlung.

Ferme des Rennes domestiques

Ferme de Rennes domestiques.
Ça ne reste que mon avis mais je n'ai pas trouvé que les Rennes avaient l'air heureux ou content. Ce n'est pas dans leur habitude de tirer tout le temps des gens. Je préfère quand ils sont dans la nature.
Je conseille pour les familles comme le chien de traîneaux.
Balade de 1 tour de reine équivaut à 150 mètres....
