Bien ubicado, en la montaña de Akureiyi. El registro es self-service y aunque estaba cerrado podías usar la cocina, salón y baños, las duchas están en el otro edificio de enfrente.

Camping dont la barrière ne s’ouvre pas hors saison, donc pour se garer c’est devant (en pente avec de la lumière toute la nuit) ou de côté dans le noir complet (mais loin des sanitaires)

Aucun accès aux lave-linge ni sèche-linge
La route pour arriver au camping est correcte mais glissante lorsque nous y avons été (attention en hiver si pas de 4x4)

39€ dos personas y luz. Dos duchas, pero fuera del complejo, eran calientes. No lavandería y una cocina normal. Calefacción escasa. Sala de estar amplia

Good camping! The only bad thing there are 2 showers for all guests, a bit annoying. We saw northern lights there so we were very happy! ????

Rolled up just after midnight due to mechanical issues with our rental. The attendant in the guard shack told me that I couldn’t be let into the campground because it was after midnight and that I would need to camp in the parking lot. That was fine, my wife and I just needed a place to sleep after a very eventful and stressful day. When I tried to pay she asked me to return in 30 minutes because she was counting out the till - no problem. But when I arrived back 30 minutes later to pay and politely asked “if this was a better time” she basically told me no and had no desire to help me out. When I mentioned that I just need a place to sleep because I had mechanical issues with my rental car she clearly could not have cared less about our predicament and was visibly annoyed that I was as there at all. This made me feel very unwelcome. I just wanted a place to sleep.
Had I known of another choice at that hour of the night I would have camped elsewhere.
Otherwise the facilities seemed nice - especially if you have a family with children ages 5-15.

Good campsite in Akureyri. Not very close to the city. Staff was friendly and available 24/7. There is a small kitchen and a cozy dining room with a lot of tables. Been there in September and space was OK. The toilets of the main building were good but the showers on the other building were dirty

El camping es un poco alejado,las duchas y los baños escapan,solo dos duchas y dos wc luego la cocina es diminuta y no tiene nada de accesorios y la zona común donde comer está más o menos.allí mismo tienen dos wc también

Very beautiful place, but unfortunately quite dirty..kitchen was really dissapointing, toilets small and unpractical..and we visited camp when it was almost empty

Amazing views! Lots of facilities, laundry service included. Far from the town though, better to go to Akureyri first and book a place in advance so that you dont have any issues if you arrive late.
Also, be mindful of the rain. The area is grass so if there is rain, it gets super muddy and its not easy to move the car.

Huge campsite with 2 showers only and 1 washing machine and 1 dryer only . Small common area. Dirty sink .

2 showers for such big camping is nonsense. Biggest price so far. Kitchen too small with only one electric kettle

Pretty outlook . Gender neutral showers, could do with some more hooks. Small kitchen for the number of potential campers, but it wasn't an issue when we were there. Not many electricity poles, but with many outlets. So for electricity, either get there early or make sure you have a long cable.

Great spot for camping. Super friendly staff. Clean facilities. A little outside the city so you’ll need your own ride or grab a cab ($25 each way roughly)

Pretty area! The facilities are clean, toilets aren’t super private but it’s fine for short term. The kitchen/dining area is nice and enjoyable. We arrived on a Sunday at around 5:30 PM and there was almost no one there, but by about 8 PM, the campsite was packed full!! Gets very busy. Free Wi-Fi!!

Top! Großer Platz mit wunderschöner ruhiger Lage. Preise fürs Waschen akzeptabel (je 600ISK). Duschen inkl., Häuschen mit Küche und Aufenthaltsraum. Spielplatz und weitere Aktivitäten. Zwar ein bisschen in der oberen Preislage in Island (nach meiner Erfahrung) aber für den Service gerechtfertigt!

Deze camping wordt niet echt goed onderhouden. Het sanitair is oud (dat zie je vooral aan de versleten wasbakken) en niet echt schoon. Bovendien is het toiletgebouw erg krap. ‘s Avonds is er geen ruimte om je tanden te poetsen. Op de velden zelf heb je wel genoeg ruimte. Wij vonden de beoordeling die deze camping krijgt erg hoog. Vandaar 2 sterren.

One of the best camping sites. A lot of green space with nice views.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz, der unheimlich groß ist, was allerdings nicht auffällt, da er verwinkelt und weitläufig verteilt ist. Es gibt viele Sanitäreinrichtungen, welche prima sind, auch die, die weiter weg vom Haupthaus sind. Es gibt unendlich viele Spielmöglichkeiten für kleine und große Kinder.
Uns hat besonders der angrenzende Wald gefallen, was für Island ja eine Besonderheit ist. Hier gab es prima Wege, Bänke, Spielplätze, Sportanlagen und Grillplätze.

Camping con comedor y zona para cocinar, fregar y comer. Dueño muy pendiente de sus visitantes. Duchas y baños muy correctos.

WARNING!! BED BUGS!
Avoid the "sleeping bag accommodation" in this camping. They are nothing else than some mattresses thrown on the floor in a loft over the common space (with no doors, that means also a lot of noise as the kitchen doesn't have a closing time, shared with other people). As we got a cold from too many nights spent under the rain, we decided to get 2 mattresses anyway and sleep there, which costed us 3,500 ISK per person! Result : we barely slept due to the noise from the people downstairs and we woke up full of bites from bed bugs!! ❌❌❌

Rießiger Campingplatz mit tollem Service und wirklich schönem Aufenthaltsraum mit Steckdosen zur freien Nutzung. Es gibt genug duschen und die Pries-Leistung passt definitiv
