Leuke locatie en fijn hotel voor rondreis. Goed ontbijt.

Ein Hotel, dass etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und dem Preis leider nicht gerechtfertigt ist.

My stay at Hotel Hofn was a complete disaster. The rooms were tiny and not worth the money. The staff was rude and uncooperative, especially at the reception. The manager was unresponsive, and the photos of the rooms were misleading. Despite booking two rooms in advance, they placed them far apart. It was the worst experience ever. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

I cannot begin to express how utterly disappointing my experience was at the Hotel Hofn. Everything about this place screamed incompetence and disregard for their guests' comfort. From the moment I stepped into my room, I knew I had made a terrible mistake.

First and foremost, the rooms were shockingly tiny. I felt like I was trapped in a glorified broom closet. The lack of space was suffocating, and it was impossible to relax or unwind. The photos on their website were a complete fabrication, as they bore no resemblance to the reality of the cramped and uncomfortable quarters they provided. It was clear that the management had no qualms about deceiving potential guests and robbing them of their hard-earned money. With such a price even the Wifi of the hotel is not working.

But the room size was not the only issue. The staff at this hotel were an absolute nightmare. Their rudeness and lack of professionalism were unparalleled. The receptionists were arrogant and egotistical, treating guests as mere inconveniences rather than valued customers. Whenever I sought assistance or asked a question, they responded with condescending remarks and dismissive attitudes. It was as if they were doing me a favor by tolerating my presence. Their behavior was utterly disgraceful and inexcusable.

To make matters worse, despite booking two rooms well in advance, they placed them on opposite ends of the hotel. This made it incredibly inconvenient for our group to stay together and disrupted our plans entirely. We specifically requested to have the rooms close to each other, but it seemed like the staff couldn't care less about honoring such simple requests.

Perhaps the most frustrating part of it all was attempting to contact the manager. It quickly became apparent that the manager was completely unresponsive and disinterested in addressing guest concerns. Numerous attempts to reach out went unanswered, leaving us feeling ignored and abandoned.

Booking two rooms in advance meant nothing, as they couldn't be bothered to accommodate our simple request of having them close together. If you value your comfort and sanity, I strongly urge you to steer clear of this hotel.

Rooms were tiny, cramped for two people. Bathroom was worn, outdated and also tiny. Room was warm at night as there is only 1 small window that opens, and no AC. This would be a last resort hotel for me.

Fijn bed. Zeer complete keuken! Genoeg zitruimte, naast banken en fauteuils ook een tafel met 6 stoelen in de woonkamer aanwezig en nog eens een tafel met 4 stoelen in de keuken. 2 badkamers, waarvan 1 boven en 1 beneden en daarmee op elke verdieping waar zich kamers bevinden aanwezig. Ook nog een wasmachine en droger aanwezig, voor gebruik hiervan wordt om een vergoeding gevraagd.

De incheckbalie van het Guesthouse is in de telefoonwinkel aan de andere kant. De Guesthouse zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien. De badkamer ziet er wat gedateerd uit maar is erg schoon en de douche is top.

In de keuken is alles aanwezig om zelf te koken, pannen olie peper zout etc. Het ontbijt wordt savonds klaargezet in de koelkast per kamer. Dit is echt meer dan genoeg.

Enige minpunt is de ventilatie in de slaapkamers. S'ochtends liep het water van de ramen af zo vochtig. In de kamer onder ons ging het brandalarm zelfs zo veel vocht was er in de lucht. Zet dus een raam open in je kamer tijdens het slapen.

The Old Airline Guesthouse is very clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hosts are extremely warm and hospitable, and they were very helpful in resolving the difficulties we encountered (they even helped me fix my broken glasses). The guesthouse is also conveniently located close to various facilities and shops in the center of Höfn. It was one of our favorite accommodations during our trip in Iceland, and we highly recommend it.

Lovely place and a great host. Though it has a shared bathroom everything is clean and tidy.

객실이 깨끗하고 정돈되어있으며 부엌이 청결하게 유지되어있음. 세탁은 1000크로나 지불해야 사용가능함.다만 방음이 잘 안되어서 저녁부터는 조용조용 말해야함.화장실도 깨끗하게 유지되며 관리자가 친절함. 만족했던 숙소임.

Good hotel, nice rooms, really great kitchen and the space in living room but owners have kind of fake welcome. They care only about your money. If you don’t care about feeling of a place then it’s for you but if you want to feel comfortable mentally - not really.
You can be strictly direct with their business interests but not with guests and their staying. The hotel gave me feeling of not having soul, simply being understood. This is not the way of Icelandic people, 100%. Sorry to hear that.

The night we were going to stay at Old Airline Guesthouse, the road to Höfn was blocked. We called the guesthouse and were truly warmth with their customer first strategy. They were so kind. We cannot express how gratefull we are. Sad we couldn’t make it but we will stay here 100% next time we are in Iceland and recommend them too.

Splendida guesthouse in centro ad hofn. Per accedervi bisogna passare dal negozio di informatica, dove ti accoglie una simpatica signora che con cortesia e disponibilità ti mostra la stanza. L'edificio é curatissimo e pulitissimo, come la stanza e il bagno. Al mattino nella cucina condivisa ti aspetta una ottima colazione, da prepararsi secondo i propri gusti. Le stanze vicino alla cucina purtroppo risentono del movimento già dal primo mattino, ma per il resto è perfetto. Posizione comodissima per raggiungere il porto coi ristoranti, ma anche per i supermercati e il benzinaio. Parcheggio sotto la stanza.

5/5 Recomendadisima. Nos atendieron super bien. Las habitaciones perfectas y espaciosas. A la cocina no le faltaba de nada y por la mañana te deja un desayuno muy abundante. Toda la casa y los lavabos limpisimos.

Very nice place. Friendly people live inside. Cosy rooms. Big nice bathroom to spend some time alone with yourself. And this place desperatly need sign in the kitchen, that forbids to cook smelly cheap food inside the house - it's impossible to breath inside when someone acts like he's a chef in the kitchen.

This place was the cutest. The host was very gracious, I did a late check in and she greeted me and was very sweet. I loved my room, it was big and very cute and clean. Breakfast was ready by the time I woke up and we each had our own trays as well as community things for breakfast. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.

Great experience! Well worth the money. We had a lovely room with an ocean view. The beds were comfy and everything felt nice and clean. Breakfast was included and was absolutely wonderful. Breads, cheese, meats, veggies, fruits, beverages, and so on. Would highly recommend!

C'est surtout le restaurant qui est un coup de coeur, travaillant avec les fermes voisines et offrant des produits frais. Les plats à base de homard sont délicieux !
