I stayed here for 3 nights in room 306. Gawssh the best! I think what makes this hotel so memorable was Gunnar from the front desk. Everyone was delightful but Gunnar was the one I bonded with. He was just so delightful and fun. We got room 306 which had its own delightful little balcony! Golly. You can open it and on good nights catch the northern lights. We didn’t because the northern lights decided to hide when we were in town but hey, can’t control nature. :). Either way, Iceland is soooo beautiful. I didn’t need the northern lights to fall in love with Iceland. Gunnar and hotel odinsve just made my stay very comfortable and happy holiday! Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Odinsve! It was a quick easy walk to excursion pickups at bus stop 8, hallgrimskirkja, or to the rainbow road and all the shopping and eating that comes with downtown Reykjavik. Our room at Hotel Odinsve had a little kitchenette that we used to make breakfasts and a couple simple dinners. It helped us to save time and money, buying food at the Bonus grocery store (within walking distance) was FAR cheaper than eating out. Our room was in a building across the street from the hotel front desk. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. My only wish was that the room had a little coffee maker. I included a couple pictures of the view from our room.

3月的第1天到的冰岛，住在这家酒店，距离周边的景点和商业很方便，房间所有的基本设施都有，温暖舒适晚上是安静，还是不错的。如果以后还会来雷克雅未克，我会选择再住这里。

Très bon accueil et bien situé ! Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses et propres et le petit déjeuner très copieux ! Je vous le recommande si vous êtes de passage à Reykjavík !

Good little hotel for city visit. Rooms clean, breakfast nice. Amazing night man on the desk.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Staff were amazing, so friendly could not have been nicer. Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was continental style with scrambled eggs ???? bacon ???? beans ???? plus cereal fruit platters, meat platters, and fresh local bread. Orange juice,apple juice available also. Fresh tea and coffee are also available. Rooms were very clean, nice size and lovely, and warm. Bathrooms were clean and fresh towels available every day if you required them. Soaps and body washes provided. Restaurant snaps onside and lovely also booking recommended for evenings. We were able to book taxis too and from the bus station also. All and all highly recommended for a great stay. Location is perfect 5 min walk to cathedral. 5 min walk to Rainbow Road and in any direction tourist attractions everywhere. Bus stop 14 or 6 was the closest to us as a drop-off point for tours. Will return to this hotel again credit to the staff for a lovely stay. ????????

Staff OK, hotel good location . Room warm good beds, however towel rail in bathroom above toilet and faulty so had to keep loo seat shut otherwise wet towels, only one mirror in bathroom which is hard work with two ladies no hooks any where to hang up coats if wet. Breakfast staff not so helpful had to clear your own table , food not always hot.

Abbiamo trovato subito l'hotel con le indicazioni di Google. Qui siamo stati accolti molto cordialmente e ci sono state date le indicazioni precise per raggiungere le camere che si trovano in un altro edificio all'inizio della Rainbow Street. Le camere sono ampie e pulite. Gli arredi ben tenuti e completi di quanto serve per un breve soggiorno. La posizione è perfetta

At present although paying premium prices lifts do not work and restaurant closed, and very make shift breakfast served. Communication and compensation to guest non existent.
Our third time staying here, very disappointed

Good hotel with decent rooms. A bit tricky with floors that have changing elevation when you’re getting your suitcases in and out. Didn’t appreciate the breakfast in the adjacent restaurant which was very simple considering the price but at least they had that as an option. We decided to eat our breakfast at other places in town. Service wasn’t really there. No help with suitcases or anything but I guess that service level is expected in Iceland. The fireplace in the reception wasn’t on and although it’s a very small thing it would have mate the atmosphere better.

premier hôtel de notre périple en Islande. Nous arrivons à 2 h du matin, pas si facile de trouver l'hôtel, n'oubliez pas de lever les yeux. L'accueil est professionnel, un petit sourire? Bon il est tôt. La chambre est petite, la salle de bains pareil. La literie est bonne mais nous sommes un vendredi soir en plein Reykjavik et les bruits dehors sont continus, voitures, gens qui crient, pensez aux boules Quiès et au masque car en été, il fait jour tout le temps et il n'y a pas de volets! Par contre le breakfast est excellent.

Cet hôtel est composé de 2 sites proches l'un de l'autre, dont l'un se compose d'appartements. Le nôtre devait bien mesurer 100 m2, meublé design scandinave, 2 chambres, 1 grande salle de bain, 1 belle cuisine bien équipée, 1 salon immense...vraiment SUPERBE. La vue sur la minuscule prison décrite partout n'est vraiment pas un problème, nous avons mis 2 jours à comprendre qu'il s'agissait d'une prison ! Très bien situé pour accéder au centre-ville, nous y retournerons....

Nous avons séjourné 7 nuits dans cet hôtel. Il est difficile de trouver des points négatifs, et c'est tant mieux ! Jolies chambres, literie très confortable, belle déco accueil et salle du petit déjeuner, personnel très présent, souriant et attentionné. De plus l'hôtel est idéalement situé en centre ville dans une rue calme. Et puis il y a l'Islande en toile de fond, fabuleux pays que l'on a du mal à quitter...!
