Dieses wunderschöne Hotel befindet sich am Fuße der Hügel und im Herzen der Landschaft von Lucca. Es ist zweifellos der ideale Ort für einen romantischen Aufenthalt, bei dem Ruhe und Gelassenheit herrschen. Jahrhundert mit der charakteristischen Architektur der berühmten Villen von Lucca und heißt seine Gäste herzlich willkommen. Alles trägt zur Schönheit des Ortes bei: der Pool, die Renaissancegärten mit Magnolien, Kamelien, Azaleen und Pinien und der majestätische Eingang zum Hauptwohnzimmer. Die Besitzer, Andrea und Alessia, haben die Ursprünge der Villa mit ihrer neoklassischen Kapelle, die manchmal noch für Hochzeitsfeiern genutzt wird, bewahrt. Jedes der 15 Zimmer ist mit einer besonderen Note in der Auswahl der Stoffe und den kleinsten Details eingerichtet. Das Frühstück kann im Sommer auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Die Unterkunft verfügt außerdem über ein eigenes Restaurant, Botton d'Oro, das eine schmackhafte und raffinierte Küche serviert.

Our train got delayed while we were on it and we advised the hotel right away, then we got to the station and the private transfer company the hotel organised wasn’t there and charged us €30 for a no show fee without us signing or being aware of any cancellation policies. The hotel asked us to pay the €30 in cash so they could give it to the taxi company. When we questioned the hotel we were told that we didn’t give enough notice, even though we couldn’t have given anymore notice or control the situation. We ended up paying the €30 as we needed the private taxi company to transfer us to the train station at 5:20am and didn’t want to be left stranded. The hotel refused to reimburse €30.
Location is 10-15 minute drive outside of Lucca main town and taxi’s are quite expensive in the area.
Villa Marta has a very unique atmosphere and something that you don't easily find in other places. When you are there you can really relax in the lovely rustic rooms or the beautiful gardens.
It is a very charming and elegant place that brings you a feeling of serenity and home.
For all these reasons we decided to come back and have our wedding there this past summer.

Incomprehensible heating system; for this, I reduced the rating (update: they fixed the issue during the night and reduced the invoice taxes and cost of the breakfasts).
