Ottima posizione, centralissimo, in piazza della Cisterna .
Ho soggiornato nella torretta , nella camera più in alto e devo dire che c'è una vista pazzesca .. bellissima camera veramente..

Un posto in una location incantevole. La famiglia gestisce il ristorante e l'hotel con passione e dedizione offrendo un servizio di qualità. La sala è stata da poco ristrutturata dando un plus importante.

One of the most beautiful piazzas of the city

Während unserer Toskana-Radtour übernachteten wir auch im Hotel la Cisterna in San Gimignano. Nette, kleine Zimmer (unseres war besonders verwinkelt (nach der Tür noch eine kleine nach links abzweigende Treppe, die dann ins eigentliche Zimmer führte). Aber ein Altbau ist nunmal ein Altbau und das Gebäude ist ja schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gepflegt. Insgesamt recht sauber und das Personal freundlich und nett. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Innenstadt an einem belebten Platz, entsprechende Lautstärke ist daher vorhanden. Unser Zimmer lag nach hinten zur Gasse entlang der Stadtmauer mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick und war daher auch sehr ruhig.

Incantevole a dir poco.Sicuramente la posizione con le camere su una delle piazze più belle d'Italia aiuta. Ma anche le camere all'interno son ben rinnovate, arredi accoglienti ottima la pulizia.Anche l 'accoglienza è molto cordiale ed efficente.I prezzi variano parecchio in base alla stagionalità

Camere confortevoli, pulite, con vista sulla piazza della cisterna a San Gimignano oppure con vista panoramica sulle colline, reception h.24, che può essere utile. Da tornare assolutamente.

Solo hicimos uso de su ristorante. Nos gusto su comida tanto la pasta como sus pizzas,aunque el servicio fue un poco lento.

Room with balcony is a dream ????. The view was amazing and location is perfect because its inside the walls in the center. The Parking Pass also was great because they give you discount. Amazing place!

O hotel é muito bem localizado, no coração da praça principal, com fácil acesso a tudo (o que não é surpresa, já que a cidade é pequena), mas principalmente aos pontos concorridos como a sorveteria Dondoli.
O quarto tem uma aparência antiga à primeira vista, mas a cama é muito confortável e o banheiro amplo e grande. Mas, como quase todos, é uma banheira. O ar condicionado é fraco e a temperatura acredito que seja controlada por eles, pois só conseguíamos ligar ou desligar no botão do aparelho, não havia controle.
Nosso quarto era no térreo, e para acessá-lo tínhamos que ir por trás do restaurante (um pouco estranho...). O ruim é que tarde da noite e de manhã cedo escutávamos muitos barulhos de louças e etc. Não somos pessoas sensíveis a barulho, então isso não nos atrapalhou, mas é um ponto de atenção.
Como fomos de carro, eles disseram que poderíamos parar em frente ao hotel para desembarcarmos a malas e depois estacionar nos estacionamentos fora das muralhas. No entanto, não recomendo fazer isso. São milhares de turistas, ruas apertadas e muito fácil errar uma rua e ficar preso (inclusive vimos isso acontecer com um carro). O estacionamento mais perto do hotel é o P2, se não me engano, mas como chegamos às 12:30 na cidade já estava lotado - aliás, quase não havia mais vagas disponíveis na cidade. O hotel oferece um serviço de transfer do estacionamento para o hotel, que deve ser agendado e custa 10 euros cada trecho (não sei informar se esse custo é por pessoa). Para chegar à cidade, recomendo ir bem cedo para achar uma boa vaga de estacionamento para facilitar o trajeto.
Na nossa reserva não tinha café da manhã, mas no último dia optamos por pagar (12 euros por pessoa). Não é nada demais, não tem ovo mexido, mas a vista é incrível! Parece uma pintura.
Em resumo, vale muito ficar neste hotel, mas com alguns pontos de atenção para que possa se planejar apropriadamente.

Rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated with beautiful apparently antique pieces. Tables, lamps match. Bathroom is very modern and spacious even in my small single room. TV, WiFi, AC all work well!

The location is perhaps the strongest benefit. You are literally ON the Cisterna Square, 20 feet out the front door to the cistern. The patio extension of the hotel restaurant is very convenient....try the Max Capriciosa pizza! Breakfast room is wonderful with high views over the surrounding countryside like none others I could imagine. Great breakfast choices too.

This really ought to have six stars. The hotel fronts onto the central Piazza that shares its name. It is always busy due to the two brilliant gelato outlets that are 20m apart from each other. They usually quieten about 23.30 so you can get your gelato then without the massive queues.

Back to the hotel. The breakfast room has amazing views over Tuscany. Window tables are eagerly sought. We paid a little extra and stayed in room 82 (I think). Rooms 81to 84 enjoy a shared terrace. You can sit out here and just wallow in the smug satisfaction that you were clever enought to secure these rooms with views. Visit a local Salumeria, take cheese, meat and the very excellent local wines back and just go steady.

You really will hit the jackpot. Remember rooms 81 to 84. You must do it!
