Great camp, went to others before and this one is nicer but the rooms are a bit rough especially the bathroom, not a huge deal but don't be disappointed. Otherwise great facilities, great team and great location. Thanks for the star glazing experience. You can drive easily there but at one point you need to climb a hill in the sand, take it before the construction site not after. Don't count much on the pool, it's green and full of chlorine but everything else is cool. Thanks!

Good resort child-friendly and many other families on the camp. You can book camel trips or go for quad bike riding.the location is nice we understand the clear picture about what is in the desert. Wunderschönes Resort, super essen, wunderbares peronal!!! Es ist außerdem Extrems kinderfreundlich und meistens sind viele Familien vor Ort. Man kann außerdem Kamel Ausflüge buchen oder quod fahren gehen.

Great location deep in the desert. Good combi of desert experience and comfortable luxury. Good food and nice activities like camp fire and star gazing. Unforgettable experience with Sunset setup on top of the dunes, with special thanks to Harry from the hotel staff ensuring 100% customer happiness. Pick up and desert activities well organised by reception staff and friendly driver Hamood. Fully recommendable for family stay!

A once in a life time experience for the whole family or as a couple!
Stunning location, delicious food , an amazingly friendly team, super kids friendly and housekeeping is the best!! Super clean rooms/tents, a big thank you and special mention to Mr. priyqnshu ! We had an unforgettable stay… which we will treasure for ever!

Un moment de rêve à vivre dans ce camp au milieu de nulle part. Accueil chaleureux, logement très confortable et repas délicieux.
Il est plus rassurant d'être accompagné à l'aller pour arriver jusqu'au camp à cause du défaut d'indication mais le retour seul se fait sans problème.

An absolutely lovely place to stay - I would totally recommend to friends!
The staff were all super friendly and helpful - from sending us directions before arrival to checking in with us during our stay.
The food served was delicious and again the staff were all helpful and lovely.
The room was lovely, and they were a nice distance from each other.
The campfire under the stars was lovely, as were the marshmallows- unfortunately the hot chocolate was missing!
Stargazing was on offer and the session was amazing - special thanks to Mohsin, our guide for the session!
There are animals like gazelles and Arabian oryx on site as well.
You can also rent quad bikes and go camel riding, and lots more.
In the morning, we walked out to camels grazing between the rooms!
Note: power sockets are few and water pressure in the bathroom can be weak at times - which can be expected as it is in the middle of the desert!
4x4 drive is needed to access the site through the desert - it would be helpful to have this on the information for the resort BEFORE the day of arrival so arrangements can be made by visitors.

Great place for staying in the beautiful Oman desert, there was a nice stargazing activity the night we came.
It’s also nice to walk up the dune just at the camp.
And of course watch sunset or sunrise from the top of dunes (driver has to bring you).
Very attentive and friendly personnel. Especially the waitress Namrata from Mumbai was great.

Wir haben ganz wunderbare Tage verbracht im 1000 Nights Camp. Ganz besonders aufmerksam waren Aziz und Al Amin. Sie haben unser Zimmer gereinigt und uns stets üppig mit Wasser versorgt. Ihnen gehört unser ganz spezieller Dank.

Well equiped camp in the desert. Clean rooms, a bathroom, not luxurious but it’s good to shower and stuff and I mean, what do you expect being in the desert, for that circumstance it was great!
Nice Staff, helping you out with everything you need. They brought us with a golf caddy to our tent which was only 30 meters away, so we did not have to carry our luggage through the sand. The tent had a lot of space, air conditioning and a great clean and comfy bed!
The pool is also a great area where you can escape the hot weather. It is a small one where we had a lot of space because of Ramadan and because there were only a few people around but in high season it might be full, maybe a few more chairs need to be added.
The buffet for dinner and the breakfast were great! A variety of salads, meat and also vegetarian obtions available and well explained by the staff when you are entering the restaurant.
You get complimentary water and also the transport at the meeting point of a Fuel Station was complementary to guide you to the desert! (Fix meeting point once a day, and only one way but the way back is very easy to find) (4x4 car neede, otherwise no chance to make it!)
The whole location is great, there is also a fireplace in the evening where they give you Marshmallows and Hot Chocolate is great but we were not able to join that evening because we went out to the desert to see the stars and the nightsky.
We will definitly recommend and come back any time we are around!

Mejor camping de todos. De lujo y la comida del buffet está muy rica y completa. Es el mejor sin duda de la zona. Staff super amable y sin duda Mahir nos ha hecho el viaje con el paseo en coche por las dunas. Perfecto todo

It was the best choice I ever made to stay in this place. Super clean And very kind all of the staff. Environment was awesome. I don’t really remember all of the staff’s name. Namrata n Yusuf.. ???????? highly recommend to visit

Beautiful location and beautiful structure. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and beautiful rooms, equipped with everything you need. We also had dinner and the quality of the food was excellent.

Booked one night here and had a really great experience. Rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast and dinner buffets were very really good with lots of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mr Mohamed Yusuf. Free activities such as the stargazing, ability to borrow boards for sand boarding and the firepit were a really nice touch. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Wahiba Sands!

Wir hatten 2 Nächte dort verbracht. Die „Zelte“ sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Klima, Bad mit offener Dusche in den Sternenhimmel. Essen war auch sehr gut. Reichliches Büffet mit frischen Fleisch und Fisch. ABER: die Preise für die Aktivitäten vor Ort sind maßlos überteuert. 30 Rial (80 Euro) eine Std Kamel reiten…. Und es gab nur 10 Liegen am Pool wo man locker 30 hätte hinstellen können. Diese 10 wurden dann auch gleich von den Gästen „reserviert“… Ohne Shuttle Service finden man den Weg durch die Wüste mit eigenem Off Road Car eher nicht. Keine Schilder! Der Shuttle kostet einfach 20 Rial! (53.- Euro). Lohnt sich wenn man nicht aufs Geld schaut.

Nuestra estancia fue maravillosa. Quiero agradecerle especialmente a Deepak, de la recepción, su amabilidad y disposición. La cena y el desayuno excelentes y el avistamiento de las estrellas con la explicación del astronomo absolutamente mágico. Súper recomendable!!!

We had the best time - a truly unique experience, we recommend the sunset trip to the dunes with tea and nibbles. Our host on the dunes, Harry, was great, and he was very attentive and helpful afterwards too over dinner and breakfast, making our stay very relaxing throughout.

Nous avions réservé une nuit dans ce camp en tente sheik. Très agréable avec salle de bain à ciel ouvert. Impossible de rester dans la tente en pleine journée à cause de la chaleur étouffante mais heureusement il y a la piscine pour se rafraichir. Je vous conseille d'arriver tôt dans le camp pour profiter de la piscine et du calme, les groupes arrivant en fin d'après-midi. La nourriture y est EXCELLENTE...s'il fallait y retourner nous y resterions 2 nuits pour profiter du calme au milieu du désert. Pour le trajet, pas besoin de prendre un guide, il y a des panneaux qui vous indiquent le camp. Louez un 4x4, dégonflez les pneus et yala !

un arrêt dans le désert qu'on oubliera pas... Non seulement l'hôtel est sympa mais tout ce qui l'entoure aussi... Attention ce pendant à la quantité de mouches au petit déjeuner au restaurant.. Ne vous installez pas à une table qui se trouve au soleil. Les chambres tentes sont sympas... la salle de bain pourrait faire mieux mais n'oublions pas que nous sommes dans le désert et après le grand luxe d'autres hôtels ça nous remet un peu à notre place de voyageurs...

Nuit idyllique dans ce camp perdu dans le désert. Nous avions réservé une tente Sheik : basique avec sa salle de bain en extérieur mais très bien décorée, ce qui donne plus de charme à cette nuit dans les dunes. Repas très bon, personnel très sympathique ! Un très bon souvenir de cette escapade dans le désert ! Très cher en revanche ...

Nous avions réservé une tente Sheik. Malgré le prix, c'est tout de même assez basique. Parties communes très agréable et décoration traditionnelle très élégante. Je ne donne pas une cote très élevée quant au service, puisque les repas sont en "self-service" ce qui provoque une cohue plutôt bruyante comparée à la sérénité des dunes environnantes.
