This company has superb guides and drivers with high professional standards. They are a mine of information for practical matters and for finding out and Omani life and culture. I particularly recommend Zubair as a tour leader and Hamid and Ali as drivers.

I got this contact directly in the hotel, for a tour in the desert and wadi. A very nice driver accompanied us for the whole day , paying attention to our needs and children’s requests . Oman is beautiful but it’s better (and more comfortable) to see it with this company. Strongly recommended

Zahara Tours war über den Reiseveranstalter mit unserer 12-tägige Rundreise durch den Oman mit Muscat, Nizwa, Wüstencamp, Sur und Salalah (sowie das jeweilige Umland) betraut. Die Reise war eine wahre Freude, was auch an unserem Reiseleiter Rajender (Raj) Singh und unserem Busfahrer Niaz lagen. Raj hat uns Land und Leute des Oman sehr gut gezeigt und ist dabei auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Niaz war unser umsichtiger Busfahrer, bei dem wir uns immer sicher gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank für diese gelungene Reise durch den Oman!

Lovely tour guide and everything is planned and organized exactly the way we expected. Mohamed Al Balushi gave us so much interesting information about the culture, nature and people & we are very glad to experienced this wonderful Country with Zahara tours. Thank you very very much!!!

Our local guide, Haitham, during our trip was so knowledgeable, fun, kind, full of stories and he really made our trip memorable. He was really good company and very experienced.

Zahara sorry for giving u only 2 stars... as the most important factor of the trip-10 pax 7 day tour to Oman was a total let down....the lead guide of the three vehicles 4x4WD assigned to us could not even speak a sentence in English....he was just a driver who knew no history nor English...so you could imagine what it was like...4 days of touring...2 nites Nizwa and one nite Sur. On first day when i contacted the tour assistant of Zahra to inform him of the same...he said that the company had assigned the best guide.
So i presumed that this was the standard of Omani guides..but when i heard the guides narrating to their groups not only in English but other European languages i knew i was wrong.
This reputed company Zahara inspite of requesting for a well qualified guide as we are seniors seasoned cultural travellers, to over 50+ countries. ...this is the type of guide assigned to us... unimaginable.....the tour felt so unfulfilled... incomplete without a professional guide for these four days.
But the saving grace was the guide Mr Gaith assigned for Muscat city tour was par excellent....who saved us fom a disastrous tour .
