Accueil chaleureux, chambre familiale très jolie et confortable.
Petit déjeuner très bon et copieux.
Claudia parle très bien français et nous a montré tous les endroits à faire et à voir dans le coin.

Claudia is such a nice and lovely host! She loves her country, culture and neighbourhood and is passionate about it. She gave us the best advice to go to the island of Farol, we loved it sooo much! The room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was very nice (local bread, fruits, home made jam/yoghurt...)

Staying at Roaz de Bandeira House in Olhao was an excellent experience. The facilities were first rate, breakfasts plentiful and tasty. The proprietors did everything to make the stay memorable. The accommodation is set in a superb location, as to get anywhere and with many places to eat and drink nearby. Indeed we probably spent too long in those hostelries! Claudia and Luis were charming and very helpful indeed. By the end we were well oriented, due to their support. Nothing was too much and we felt very comfortable. The systems and facilities were very effective. Special mention goes to the charming back garden, which was a haven. As the accommodation was set in a quiet enclave, it felt very safe and quiet. Due to the local knowledge of Claudia and Luis we were able to be discerning about trips in and away from the town. I really is hard to think of anything critical to say, it was all splendid!

Disgusting people and the most vile experience I have ever had in my life.

You only need to read their aggressive responses to see their personality. I wish I had read reviews properly before booking as I would never have booked this horrible guest house. I booked a last minute holiday so I didn’t do enough research.

Expensive and poor value for money (unless you are sharing a room with many people - I was a single traveller and for me it was terrible value. No cleaning at all - rooms only cleaned once every 4 days so if your stay is shorter there is no housekeeping whatsoever. 1 small towel even though I booked a family room so I should have had minimum 2 people towels etc. Bed completely old and uncomfortable, one very soft and old one very hard and basically a diaper changing bed; pillows cheap nasty quality. I paid extra to get my own toilet but most rooms have external toilet and you hear the other guests through the walls and going to their toilet and every creak and step and door opening. For just a few euro more you can get a proper hotel room up the road. Breakfast is not self service so you don’t see how they’re taking your food and you can’t help yourself you have to keep asking for anything. Coffee is weak filter coffee.)

The most revolting thing above all is the owners. Abusive, rude, nasty bullies. The woman especially is a horrible angry person who obviously hates her job. Anything you need is too much trouble. She told me if I don’t like it I should go and said, this isn’t a hotel. I said fine so give me the money back then. No, she wanted to keep the money and the room. She said because I’d held the room for two weeks other people couldn’t book. I pointed out there were still other rooms unbooked so…? Lol. I am now going to dispute the charge with my credit card because on top of everything else they’re stealing from me. I wasn’t going to even leave I was going to suffer but because they saw the other guests take my side they panicked and decided to give me a 50% refund if I left so I agreed. But I was charged all the municipal tax for my stay (they kept it as a little present for themselves) and they took extra money in addition to my one night dreadful stay, which they weren’t entitled to. I was very reasonable and said I’ll pay for the night I stayed but they are greedy and want more. If they were not money grabbing on top of everything else I wouldn’t even leave them a bad review as I just wanted to put this behind me - but this is the final straw and I’m just so so sick of them now.

As if this wasn’t enough, they also leaked my personal information to the other hotel and told the other hotel I hated it there (why?? I don’t know. Weird.) And don’t leak my personal information here. You know who I am so don’t pretend like for other reviews.

I should have insisted on a full refund before I left and they would have given it because they could see all the other guests were taking my side - but I just wanted to get out of that nightmare. The other guests were all shocked at how I was being treated. It’s thanks to them that I got any money back at all and the owners know this 100% because up til then the woman was saying not a penny refund… lol.

I really don’t want your response. You ignored my emails so just ignore this too. Let others read the negative reviews and see if they are all saying the same thing about you…? You almost ruined my holiday. I went all the way to the airport and I was going to get an early flight home. You wasted a day of my holiday and made me lose a night of sleep. You shouted and swore in my face. For what? In the end I decided no you won’t ruin my holiday and I paid extra and stayed in a 3* hotel up the road which was almost the same price and much better and thank god I had a nice holiday in spite of this couple and their horrible run down guesthouse. I hope people read the negative reviews and think twice about staying here.

Unsere Erfahrung begann bereits mit einem unschönen Empfang. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es ein Buchungsproblem, da das Zimmer nicht auf unseren Namen, sondern auf den Namen des Vaters meines Freundes reserviert war. Die darauffolgende Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war frustrierend, da sie mich nicht zu Wort kommen ließ und uns das Gefühl vermittelte, als wären wir zu jung oder unfähig, die Situation zu verstehen.

Zu unserer Erschöpfung nach der Reise kam hinzu, dass die Gastgeberin uns trotz unserer Müdigkeit nicht direkt auf unser Zimmer ließ. Stattdessen bestand sie darauf, uns eine ausgedehnte Haustour zu geben und Details zu erzählen, die für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt irrelevant waren.

Das Zimmer selbst war zwar sauber, aber altmodisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde direkt an den Tisch serviert, wodurch es uns unangenehm war, nach weiteren Portionen zu fragen. Das Gefühl, in einer Jugendherberge zu übernachten, wurde durch externe Bäder und das Bedürfnis nach stiller Diskretion nur verstärkt.

Die Gastgeberin schien zudem sehr bestrebt zu sein, uns ihren Ort als einzig wahres Reiseziel zu verkaufen, indem sie andere Aktivitäten in der Nähe herabsetzte.

Insgesamt war dieser Aufenthalt enttäuschend, insbesondere in Anbetracht des gezahlten Preises. Es gibt sicherlich bessere Unterkünfte in der Umgebung mit einem faireren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Zwar kleine Zimmer aber sehr sehr sauber und gemütlich.
Eine gute Lage, alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die Bahnstation ist auch nicht weit.
Sehr Freundlicher und gut Informierender Service und leckeres Frühstück.
Es wird noch eine tolle Zeit hier.

Logement confortable et très propre. Petit déjeuner parfait. Très bon accueil de Claudia et Louis qui ont donné de très bon conseils. Je recommande ce BB et reviendrai certainement.

È tutto molto carino, funziona tutto bene, le pulizie fatte bene, la camera accogliente, gli spazi comuni sono perfetti, il giardino utilizzabile è splendido, gli host sono molto cordiali e disponibili, ma: avevamo una camera con bagno esterno, scelta da noi, ma la camera era al piano terra, proprio fra la reception e la cucina comune, quindi mi è capitato di andare a fare la doccia mentre altri ospiti stavano effettuando il check in, il bagno è davvero microscopico, e la mattina presto, verso le 7.30 credo, gli host fanno molto rumore per fare pulizie e preparare la colazione, anche se la colazione viene servita piuttosto tardi, alle 9, non potrete rimanere a letto a dormire per il rimore. Un giorno ho lasciato la finestra in camera aperta, e l ho ritrovata chiusa anche se nessuno è entrato a fare le pulizie, trovo che sia piuttosto fastidioso. Peccato perché è tutto davvero carino. Vorrei dare un ulteriore consiglio ai proprietari, durante la colazione lasciare un po' di libertà agli ospiti, è un pasto in cui ci si dovrebbe rilassare, il vostro servizio è un po' opprimente. Avrei preferito potermi alzare e prendere da solo almeno pane o caffè, anche se voi siete motlo gentili. Comunque è un host che consiglio senz'altro.

We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Cláudia and Luis! We loved our room (nicely decorated, very clean), the patio, the delicious breakfast & they gave us very good advice on what to visit in the surroundings :) Thanks again!

Superbe séjour chez Claudia et Luis qui ont le sens de l'hospitalité. Ils nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement dans leur maison et ont été de bons conseils pour nous faire découvrir les alentours et la gastronomie locale.
Concernant la chambre, elle était très confortable. La salle de bain était privative et séparée de la chambre mais cela n'a pas été un problème pour nous.
Petit déjeuner sucré et salé délicieux pris dans le patio intérieur très agréable.
La facilité pour se garer tout proche et la localisation à 10min du centre de Olhao étaient également appréciés.

La casa es grande y muy limpia hay espacios comunes donde disfrutar de la tranquilidad y descansar.Claudia y Luis, los anfitriones son muy agradables, nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Pasamos un fin de semana de lujo. Muchas gracias por vuestra atención.

Disfrutamos de una estancia excepcional en Roaz da Bandeira.

La casa está situada en Olhao, a diez minutos caminando del centro y junto a la estación de tren. En los alrededores hay supermercados y otras facilidades. Es fácil aparcar en la zona. Así mismo desde la zona es sencillo llegar a los principales puntos de interés.

La casa es bonita, dispone de zonas comunes compartidas : cocina, sala de estar y un patio estupendo donde tomar el aire o disfrutar del desayuno. El desayuno es completo y variado.

La habitación era agradable, con todo lo necesario para tener una buena estancia.

Los anfitriones son encantadores, te enseñan la casa para que te sientas acogido, te dan información sobre excursiones , restaurantes para cenar y se muestran dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento.

Una alojamiento de diez, que te hace sentir en casa.
