5 Swiss is a prime hotel centrally located near the Mille Collines hotel and the old presidential residence and the French embassy. Atmosphere of hotel is relaxed in a positive way a'd the restaurant and bar very nice. The staff is super cool especially the driver Alex who is a great asset to this hotel. Very nice to talk with the regular customers of the bar from affluent Rwandan society and a great source of information for newcomers

I can’t say enough good things about this little gem of a hotel. I’ve been at the hotel for two weeks for a work trip. It’s very clean , staff are attentive , breakfast is wonderful , laundry is free (!) , restaurant has good options that are affordable , solid internet , friendly airport shuttle service , and a comfy bed . It’s also very close to great restaurant options , cafes , and the car free zone . I highly recommend 5 Swiss to any traveler !

In February 2023, my husband and I had our first visit to Rwanda and stayed at 5 Swiss Hotel, the second accommodation during our time in Kigali. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The room was immaculate, and the downstairs bar/breakfast area boasted a beautiful aesthetic. The outdoor area felt pleasantly earthy. The included breakfast was enjoyable. Without a doubt, I would choose 5 Swiss Hotel again for my future stays in Kigali, Rwanda.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms in a pleasant neighborhood close to shopping and attractions. Great breakfast and professional welcoming staff. Bonus for us was laundry service is included!

Nettes Hotel mit gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nahe der Innenstadt von Kigali. Die Zimmer sind einfach, dafür gibt es einen Gratis Wäscheservice, was viel Wert ist.

Wonderful stay! Rooms are comfortable and the staff is the best. Special thanks to Nadine, Berlise, Sounaya, Widad and everyone who made us feel right at home. Location is central for business and the breakfasts are delicious.

I highly recommend this hotel for doing business in the city. It’s close to everything and easy to walk around from here. The staff and owners are so friendly (special thanks to William and Nadine). The breakfast and cappuccino is excellent. Not all rooms have AC so be sure to ask. Would stay here again.

Such a calm yet tranquil place it feels like a paradise in the middle of the city. Perfectly greener than you would expect. I loved the fact that is had such fresh ripped fruits in the compound. Meaning you get juice and food fresh from the farm.
Not the usually ordinary hotels Swiss is a small but big at service kind of hotel with such dedicated staff very friendly with beautiful smiles, in a perfect location not forgetting the lovely sound of birds calling in the tree canopies because it’s nested in tresses. If you’re a nature lover and looking for a place to relax in the middle of a city, then I highly recommend 5 swiss. I had a watermelon juice that was very nicely blended to perfection

Retour d'expérience dans l'établissement 5swiss qui fut très agréable
Tour d'abord chaque membre de notre équipe à été accueilli dès l'aéroport par un agréable jeune homme très patient.
Nous avons été loger dans des chambres à taille très correct et confortable, la climatisation neuf et très fonctionnelle et des accessoires anti moustiques. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne très bien. Le ménage est fait avec respect des heures de présence. Le plus marquant, qui m'a le plus toucher est l'accueil de toute l'équipe qui a été d'une grande gentillesse et bienveillance incroyable surtout lorsque je me suis retrouvé malade. L'équipe c'est occupée de moi lors de ma convalescence avec amour je leur en suis tellement reconnaissante car grâce à leur soin j'ai pu reprendre des forces et finir agréablement mon voyage et profiter de ce splendide pays qui est le Rwanda. Je vous recommande les yeux fermés cette établissement qui sera bien s'occuper de vous.

I read lots of romantic novels growing up.
There were plots in the novels I could only imagine but had never experienced.
The moment I stepped into 5Swiss, it was a deja vu kind of experience. It was my imaginations reality.
It didn't feel like a hotel. It was home.
Nature, good air and healthy food.
I didn't need my alarm because the chirping of birds woke me up in the mornings.
The Sun rises early in Kigali but the trees in 5Swiss shifts it a bit.
Funfact: You actually don't need air conditioning because nature has conditioned the place such that the air is cool and sweet for the night.
You can leave your balcony door or window open throughout the night (use the net please) to gift yourself a good night's rest therapy.
And yes, you are welcome! ????

For a 3-Star hotel, it is fantastic!
Location: 5X. It is located by the President's residence
Service: Another 5X here. They are good to respond and resolve your queries.
Food: Not so fantastic
Rooms: Basic. No AC in most of the rooms. I was there for about 16 days.
