The boat was super clean and the lunch was very tasty. The reason for the 2 stars was for the ambiance. Imagine setting out for a peaceful cruise along the coast just before sunset. Just about 100 yards from the shore, the NONSTOP noise of club thumping music starts. Don't get me wrong, I like all different types of music, but when you are out in the ocean looking for wildlife and admiring the coastline, the music is certainly overwhelming. You could not even talk to the person next to you.

We booked this catamaran trip and it was such a wonderful time! We did the afternoon trip with a gorgeous sunset to finish. The crew were all very courteous, helpful and definitely fun! They have stellar reviews on Google and it clearly shows! Pura Vida ???????? ????

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Tour in die Mangroven. Wir wurden um 05.45 in unserem Hotel superpünktlich abgeholt und in einem kleinen Reisebus zu den Mangroven gebracht. Dort stiegen wir in ein kleines Boot mit 2 anderen Reisenden. Unser Guide William war witzig und hatte ein sehr grosses Wissen über die Pflanzen und Tiere. Uns faszinierte die Natur dort sehr und wir genossen die ruhe in diesen frühen Morgenstunden. Wir sahen kleine Affen von ganz nah und zudem viele Vögel, Fische und natürlich Iguanas. Die Tour empfehlen wir naturinteressierten Personen welche gerne auch etwas über Pflanzen oder kleinere Tiere lernen möchten.
Die Tour wurde mit einem leckeren traditionellen Frühstück und einer Fahrt zurück in das Hotel abgeschlossen.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und danken William sehr für diese Erfahrung.
Der Preis für diese Tour ist eher teuer jedoch hat man bereits das Frühstück und den Transfer von/bis Hotel dabei!
Wir können die Mangroven Bootstour am frühen Morgen sehr empfehlen.

We went on a Manual António guided tour and our guide - Andres was AMAZING! He was great at capturing the pictures and told us a lot about the wildlife - both animals and vegetation. The tour was about 3 hours in total and well worth it. Many of the animals were hidden in the trees so without his scope we would not have seen. We saw many sloths both 2 and 3-fingered and several monkeys. Thanks!

We definitely saw some whales! What an extremely cool experience well, until everyone on the boat started getting sick. Fortunately I did not get sick but looking around and watching people vomit and sit there with their heads down made for a bad experience. The guides didn’t care, he seemed as though it was all about him. He played the music extremely loud , we heard 2 songs with the N word in it and a bunch of cursing. The food was half cooked and the captain ate first lol. I could go on and on but……….

We toured Manuel Antonio and can’t stop talking about our day - it wouldn’t have been the same without Andrey! I learned so much about the nature and he spotted SO much wildlife, even the tiniest creatures. He made sure we got lots of once-in-a-lifetime photos and made the trip so much fun. Highly recommend!

Our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park was lead by Andrey Obando. He was amazingly knowledgeable and made our tour so interesting from start to finish. He helped us take pictures and made sure we all got to see everything. Andrey was also very funny and helped us forget about the heat! One of the best tour guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

We enjoyed the boat ride, watched the sun set. Looked for whales but didn't find any. The staff was wonderful and they served us an early hot dinner. If you happen to have signed up for a snorkeling tour, you will be very disappointed. There is one spot by a rock that has a small variety of small fish. All the tour boats and swimmers converged on this one little crowded area. This was the only disappointment, so i give this tour a 4 star rating.

We had an outstanding experience with this tour service, providing us with unforgettable adventures. Our chosen excursion was a sea kayaking and snorkeling package that lasted around 4 hours. The itinerary included kayaking from Parque Nahomi to Playa Piedritas, informative snorkeling sessions guided by our knowledgeable guides, enjoying snacks on the beach, and concluding with a delicious typical lunch back on shore. Special thanks to Raul and Jason for creating a truly memorable morning.

Juan Carlos, Jonathan y charlie el chofer se han ocupado de nosotros con mucha atención.Hasta llegar al lugar donde empezamos el rafting Juan Carlos nos ha explicado la botánica y la historia de Costa Rica, súper interesante.
Mis amigos ( éramos 3 parejas les ha encantado) el rafting genial, un super momento

Hicimos el Tour del Parque Nacional de Manuel Antonio, nuestro guía fue Andrey, excelente profesional al que le gusta su trabajo.

Durante toda la excursión sus explicaciones fueron fantásticas y su trato cercano y amable nos hizo de esta experiencia algo que siempre recordaremos de Costa Rica.

Nul ! Nous avons payé 67$ (pas 79 car nous ne voulions pas le repas ensuite) par personne pour 1h10 de kayak dans la mangrove ! On s'est déplacé par nos propres moyens de l'hôtel jusqu'à leur agence, puis le guide nous a demandé de prendre notre voiture de l'agence jusqu'aux kayaks. Nous n'avons vu qu'un héron tigré et des crabes, quelques rares explications sur la mangrove, et c'est tout ! Lamentable !

What a memorable day in Quepos, Costa Rica! Our adventure started at 1:00 pm and lasted 5 hours (shuttle included). We started with an hour of kayaking, followed by 45 minutes of dazzling snorkelling. Afterwards, we enjoyed 30 minutes of relaxation on Biensanz beach with a snack of fresh fruit. Then a pleasant kayaking session brought us back, before ending the evening with a convivial dinner at the local restaurant. It was a perfect opportunity to socialize with other tourists and our friendly hosts Raoul and Jason. I highly recommend this enriching experience!

We did the kayak and snorkelling activity and everything was really cool! Amazing guides and so much fun. Would recommend!
Excellent communication with the organization through WhatsApp (we are travelling from Canada). They picked us up close to our airbnb in a bus with AC, we got to the marina for the kayak and went to go snorkelling (all the equipment was furnished and good). Spent some time at the beach to chill and they gave us a nice snack (fruits and cookies), then we got back in the kayak to take the bus to the restaurant and finally they dropped us back near our airbnb. We actually decided to book this activity the day before because of the good reviews on trip advisor and didn't regret it. Thank you Raoul and Jason for the great time!

Professionele organisatie met guides die het gebied door en door kennen, beesten zien die je anders voorbij zou zijn gevaren, en in àlles veiligheid voorop stellen. Dat is fijn als je weet dat verderop ook krokodillen zwemmen. In ons geval een privé tour voor twee personen in de kayak door guide Mega en dat ingeleid door guide William. Afgesloten met een lekker ontbijtje zonder ananas. Topervaring!

We used Iguana Tours to book a guided hike of Manuel Antonio National Park as well as Horseback Riding Tocori Mountain & Waterfall tour. Both of these excursions were fantastic.
On the hike of the national park we saw crabs, some cool insects, butterflies, sloths, lizards, and howler monkeys. The hike is short, but we stopped frequently to look at wildlife so it still ends up being roughly half a day tour. It ends at a beach where you have option to stay at the beach and find your own way back to hotel (if you want). We opted for that…there were so many capuchin monkeys on the beach; they were clearly comfortable with being around people. We did another trail in the park leading to a lookout spot with nice views. Our guide Andrey was really funny and kept us entertained despite the heat!

The horseback riding tour was awesome. Our guide Gilberto was knowledgeable and friendly. My wife loves riding and the guide allowed her to lead the trail with the horse that likes to be in front! The ride was nice and the waterfall at the end was amazing! It was just the two of us so we had a nice private swim in the waterfall. It was secluded and peaceful. Horses seemed well cared for.

BEST TOUR GUIDES IN THE WORLD FOLKS!!!!! BBC's Planet Earth would be jealous of the knowledge and experience the staff at Iguana Tours will share with you. This was a Bucket List experience that I didn't even realize until it got started. Our guide Andrey was the best!!!! We saw more animals, plants, scenery, and got more information and education from him than any activity on our trip in Costa Rica. He was like the Neil deGrasse Tyson of Biology !!!! If you can request ANDREY on your tour, I can promise you the best experience imaginable.
