Accueil délicieux comme la cuisine très authentique et soignée servie au restaurant. Havre de paix peuple d oiseaux merveilleux, chambres vastes, très confortables et propres.

An amazing place to stay,just like 5 mins from Turrialba downtown.
Everything there is perfect.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
It worth the price.
Food is delicious.
The place is beautiful surrounded by nature,birds singing and flowers everywhere.
We stayed for three days bc we had to come back for Christmas Day otherwise we stay longer.Villa Florencia is one of these places where you want to stay forever
Since the beginning they make you feel like home.The owner and her staff are kind ,lovely people.
The food is excellent .Rooms are clean and spacious..
Looking forward to go back there again because this is one of the unique places where you want to come back again.

Das Hotel wurde im Rahmen einer Rundreise gebucht. An sich eine sehr schöne Anlage inmitten wunderschöner Natur. Alles wirkt recht ordentlich und gepflegt. Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben sehr gut zu Abend gegessen.
Aber! Wir sind vielleicht bis jetzt etwas verwöhnt, was das Frühstück betrifft. Überall üppiges Büffet. Hier gab es nur diverse Frühstücke von der Karte. So weit, so gut. Aber die Hälfte von dem, was da draufstand, war nicht vorrätig. Schade.
Und haben denn die Mitarbeiter während der Pandemie nichts über Hygiene gelernt?
Mir wurde Kaffee serviert und die Tasse am Rand oben getragen, wo ich nachher draus trinken will...
Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt bis auf die Kritikpunkte.
Da sollte man noch dran arbeiten.

Vergonzoso!! Aceptan grupos de niños 14 años de fin de curso y te lo colocan al lado de tu habitacion con lo que eso conlleva ( ruidos, chillidos) y parece que nadie es capaz de solucionarlo desde recepcion… la habitacion no llega al minimo, no te cambian las toallas ni aunque las dejes en el suelo…una verguenza! El ventilador no funcionaba y el personal parece petrificado al expresar la critica!

Al principio faltaban algunos detalles, pero me puse en contacto con el personal y han resuelto todo de forma excelente!!! Son muy atentos y el hotel es un sitio muy relajante

I had a group of birders here and everyone enjoyed the experience. The staff were lovely and the ladies at the bar were very helpful with drink suggestions! The grounds and pool are great and very “birdy”, lots of places to relax and explore. Muchísimas gracias y espero volver pronto!

Auf unserem Roadtrip durch Costa Rica machten wir in dieser Villa halt. Wir wurden diesmal nicht vom Personal empfangen sondern von einem Baum voller Oropendula Vögel. Einfach traumhaft. Die Orpendula haten sehr viele Nester mit ihren Chiquitititas die sie füttern. Das Personal empfang uns ebenfalls sehr freundlich und wir bekamen ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte sehr gute Betten. Mit einer Terrasse mit Blick auf den Jungel. Das Abendessen war ein Traum von der Vorspeise bis zum Desert stimmte alles. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können nur empfehlen hier zu essen.ida die Chefin sorgte dafür das sich alle wohlfühlen. Beim Frühstück hatte man die Wahl aus mehreren Gerichten die sehr gut waren. Wir kamen mit Ida ins Gespräch und sie empfahl uns einen See in der Nähe zu besuchen, dort sind eine Menge Vögel .Ida sollte recht behalten, der See war traumhaft. Ein Biotop aus Wasserpflanzen Vögel aller Art und viele Insekten und Kolibris. Zurück im Hotel besuchten wir noch den Sloth der direkt auf einem Baum an unserem Zimmer wohnte und verabschiedeten uns von Ida und Ihren Angestellten. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und auch so verabschiedet. Uns bleibt die Villa lange in Erinnerung.

Not worth the price. The whole experience was lacking. The only positive I can point was the bed as it was really comfortable. But everything from there went down. The rooms are not well maintained and seemed dirty. We went for breakfast and it was bland and sad. I was served an uncooked fried egg on mine. The personnel was pleasant but indifferent to us, not once asked about our experience and seemed inconvenienced about us being there. Much better options in the area for a cheaper price.

A great hotel just outside of Turrialba. The team here were really friendly and willing to help with arranging tips, Ida especially sharing ideas on how to enjoy the local area and the wider Turrialba area as well. Thank you Ida and Gustavo for a wonderful stay at Villa Florencia!
