I recently embarked on an unforgettable journey with Popote Africa, climbing Kilimanjaro three months ago. From the outset, the experience was marked by seamless communication and exceptional service. Upon my late-night arrival, the team ensured I was well taken care of, even arranging for a meal, showcasing their commitment to customer care.
The following day, a thorough briefing set the tone for the adventure ahead. A hiccup with the initially planned group could have derailed my plans, but Popote Africa demonstrated their flexibility and generosity by allowing me to proceed with the climb solo without the need to pay the solo fee. They reassured me that I could continue at the original price I had paid, easing any concerns about the potential cancellation of my trip.
Ascending Kilimanjaro was a breathtaking experience, made even more memorable by the expertise of my guide, Nemes. His deep knowledge and attentive nature made every step feel secure, akin to walking with a trusted companion. Nemes not only navigated the mountain's challenges effortlessly but also added a personal touch, making the journey emotionally resonant.
The support team, including the Rahmanda Porters, exhibited incredible athleticism and skill, effortlessly scaling obstacles to ensure my comfort. Their culinary prowess resulted in delectable meals, from mouth-watering pancakes to the best food I've ever tasted. The attention to detail extended to my accommodations, with a clean and ready tent awaiting me each day.
The camaraderie within the group was infectious, with everyone exuding positivity and genuine happiness. Every interaction felt like a warm welcome, contributing to the overall sense of community throughout the expedition.

We had an amazing experience climbing the Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho Route with Popote! Our guides Godwin and Godfried kept us safe and accommodated our requests. The whole team of porters is reliable and the camp set up excellent. Everyone is always friendly and very organised. Food is also fantastic and kept us strong. Highly recommend climbing the mountain with this company! Our success to the Summit was thanks to Popote.

We had an AMAZING experience with Popote Africa Adventures! From the planning stages to sending payment to the actual experience - everything was superb! They are incredibly communicative beforehand and answer as many questions as needed. Our hike on Mt. Kilimanjaro was a once in a lifetime experience and we loved our whole team! From our amazing guides to the incredible porters and a special shoutout to our Chef Joseph for cooking up great meals everyday! We all made it to the top of the mountain and had so much fun doing it :)

Afar. We liaised mostly on WhatsApp and Sabino answered all my questions and made the booking really simple. All the porters and guides on the trek were amazing and ensure myself and my friend both made it to the top on summit night in time for sunrise! The safari was also fantastic and tailored to what we are looking for. Excellent service and would definitely recommend.
