Dieses Kloster ist ein Ort aus einer anderen Zeit. Es wurde vollständig renoviert und bietet schöne Ausblicke auf den Garten und den Ozean. Während der Hof majestätisch ist, ist das Kloster selbst von einer friedlichen und ruhigen Atmosphäre geprägt. Die großen Korridore hallen noch von den endlosen Gebeten wider, während die zwölf Zimmer mit allem Komfort und einem Kamin ausgestattet sind. Die Räume sind riesig und die Unterkünfte sehr geräumig. Den Gästen stehen ein großer Swimmingpool und ein Squashplatz zur Verfügung.

My husband and I got married here in 2013. It was a perfect spot for our intimate wedding. We then returned for our 10-year anniversary in 2023 and were pleased to see how lovingly cared for the place has been. We love the sacred geometry and can feel the echoes of a reverence, peace and "high vibrations". Not to mention an excellent location for exploring the town of Vila Franca. The breakfasts are delicious featuring local cheeses, breads, fresh squeezed orange juice and local pineapple and other fruit. It's a beautiful place to wander the grounds with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, as well as a great base to explore the island. Thank you and we'll be back!

This was our favorite stay (out of 4!) On the Azores!! What a magnificent space. You can feel the very special, sacred energy is still there. In a very positive way. The former abbey is enormous compared to the amount of guests and rooms. The pictures hardly do justice to how magnificent this place is. There are very spacious hallways and large rooms. It's really authentic, yet modern enough. We also loved the light and inviting living rooms that are situated all around. Breakfast is perfect and the hosts and people working here are really friendly. Thank you so much for everything!

All the rooms are very beautiful decoratesd and the best beds you will ever sleep in. Also when you wake up in the morning you feel so rested and rejuvenated. The breakfast is just so jummy with all the local products. Sometimes you just forget that this island also excist because hard to leave the comvento. The view from the balcony, room and roofttop are also amazing.
