Eines der ältesten Hotels in Key West, das Zimmer mit ausreichendem Komfort bietet
Das 1926 erbaute Hotel im Herzen der Duval Street ist eines der ältesten Hotels in Key West und das höchste Gebäude im Stadtzentrum. Hemingway erwähnte das La Concha in seinem Roman " Haben oder nicht haben ". Das Hotel wurde sorgfältig renoviert, wobei der alte floridianische Charme beibehalten wurde. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber der Komfort ist mehr als ausreichend. Versäumen Sie es nicht, am Rooftop-Pool zu schwimmen und einen Drink an der Bar zu nehmen. Ein guter Tipp, um Key West zu Fuß zu erkunden und abends das Nachtleben zu genießen

The location is great!!! The pool was out of service the days that we stayed. If that’s what you’re looking forward to, check with the hotel first. Breakfast is NOT included with the stay. Each room gets a $30 a day voucher, but breakfast is $30 per person. A breakfast for four will run you $100.
The bathroom in our room had a sliding barn door. Massive gaps that made privacy impossible. If you’re stomach starts rumbling, the lobby bathrooms is best.
Anyways - location & front door staff are the only redeeming thing about this property.
We stayed in a King Studio Suite (room 249) and it needed some serious attention.
-Patio door was not secure. Flew open in the middle of the night at 4am waking us up in a panic. Neither lock secures the door
-A bed sheet covers the window rather than a proper curtain… at this price point, go buy a proper curtain or don’t put people in this room?
-Room entry door does not close on its own causing security concerns
What really upset me was the lack of follow up - I expressed concerns and they didn’t respond.
The hotel is going through a major remodel and let me just say the rooms are clean comfortable. Lastly, the staff was impeccable. A special thanks to- Manager McKinley for all your help and front desk help Maria and Julia for your help and all the rest of the staff. I'll be back.
