Went with a group of ladies for an advance. The grounds are gorgeous. Beautiful peacocks every where. The people working are wonderful. So relaxing and a great place to sit with the Lord.

We took a detour from New Orleans back home to Laredo, Texas and I was glad I did. Everything was peaceful and beautiful. I wish I could show up for one of their weekend events. I think I will be back one day in their lovely town.

Didn't actually stay there ,went to look at one of the cottages and it was a complete mess. One of the other cottages may have been nicer but when I asked to see it she told me that she didn't know which one was open. The staff seem to be really nice though.

My sisters and I took a trip to New Orleans last month for a spiritual retreat. We stayed at Hemingbough and the experience was awesome! We stayed in a ‘shot gun’ house and felt connected to nature and our roots! The peacocks added a lovely touch to the landscape along with the architecture! Visit this past weekend for a girls retreat.This place was just beautiful, from the cozy lil houses, the beautiful land, and the peacockssss.

This is such a peaceful place with great scenery. It’s kid and animal friendly and great for a day trip and picnics. And the peacocks love to eat snacks with you.
