Ungewöhnliches Hotel in historischer Umgebung, eines der charmantesten Hotels in Manhattan.

Dieses kleine Hotel mit 60 Zimmern, das in einem alten Herrenhaus aus dem Jahr 1912 untergebracht ist, wurde nach einem einzigartigen und originellen Konzept gestaltet. Die Einrichtung ist wie eine Bibliothek aufgebaut: Nicht weniger als sechstausend Bücher sind überall verteilt, je nach dem Thema des Zimmers, in dem man sich befindet (Wissenschaft, Literatur, Philosophie usw.). Die Mahagoni-Einrichtung und die angenehm gedämpfte Atmosphäre machen das Library zu einem der charmantesten und einzigartigsten Hotels in Manhattan. Wenn man einen Wermutstropfen finden müsste, wäre es dieser: Das WLAN ist kostenpflichtig.

This may be the first hotel I've stayed in where I don't need to pack my own tea. Excellent service all the way around and excellent food and drinks at the hotel restaurant and rooftop bar. I will definitely be coming back to scope out some of the other themed rooms.

Best stay in NYC ever! I have tried a couple different hotels in NYC and stumbled across the Library Hotel in my search. It doesn't help that I am a Librarian, thus added to the need to stay. I was thrilled with the location and how close it was to Grand Central Station and the Coach USA bus stop. Which allows fast travel to airports. Check in was fast and friendly and the front desk staff answered my questions easily. My room was very comfortable and it was perfect to curl up in after a long day. Bookends bar upstairs was the perfect spot to hide in a nook and enjoy a break. And Maison and Vine was a great place to start the day. I really couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay at. Will definitely make it my go to spot when in town.
