This is an amazing find in the busy, buzzy, dusty Rufisque, along the N1 road from Dakar heading southwards. A bit away from the main road, the hostel itself is very peaceful, very clean, spacious with a welcoming internal courtyard. The owner, Monique, and her staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. She even upgraded me for my comfort and on departure let me stay in the room the whole day at no extra cost as my flight was very late in the night.
Rooms are very clean with they own bathroom, and mosquito net. With or without air conditioning. Very safe, it is gated and closed and guarded at night. Less than 750m you can walk to the main round about, where you'll find the petrol station store, smaller convenience store, a pharmacy, even a local restaurant and dibiterie (sheep skewers).
The hostel restaurant is highlight recommended and very popular with Expats and local. Food, be it local or European is delicious, and at a very affordable price. The premises do also sell alcohol. And, to me the most important, they have a proper expresso coffee machine, which is the rarest thing in Africa.
You can easily walk to the town if you don't want to wait for a taxi. The beach, Cap des biches is less than 10 min. drive as well.
Excellent wi-fi connection for the business traveller (or not).

I highly recommend this hostel and be my venue of choice when visiting the area again.
