Le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle à Paris offre une expérience à double tranchant. Son emplacement central et ses collections variées sont attrayants, mais certaines expositions semblent dépassées. Pour les passionnés de sciences naturelles, c'est un incontournable, mais ceux recherchant une expérience muséale plus moderne pourraient être déçus.

Un musée très instructifs avec squelettes, représentations, , différentes espèces... On se croirait à la fin des années 1880!!

Dont come with kids, or if you dont speak French. No signs in any other language than French. 3 our for 4 elevators out of order (and the place is full of kids). No "evolution" storyline - feels like a random set of stuffed animals. Terrible organization overall, incl. Cafe/ bar.

A great visit, set amongst so beautiful gardens.
If your in Paris for 3+ days then I would add this to your list.

The Felines Exhibit was detailed with some of the best taxidermy I’ve seen in my life. We were able to witness a live theatrical performance that moved me literally to tears. The museum focuses heavily on how humans are negatively impacting our planet. There are tons of interactive exhibits to keep the little ones entertained. They even have virtual reality!

규모는 크지 않은데 내부가 웅장하고 고풍스러운 분위기. 아이들 볼거리 많음.

Wir waren im März 2024 im Muséum national d’histoire naturelle in Paris.
Man sollte in einem Museum die Exponate eigentlich gut sehen, daher, es sollte genügend Licht da sein.
Bedauerlicherweise war im gesamten Museum nur Dämmerlicht, man könnte keine genauen Details erkennen, als ich meine Taschenlampe zu Hilfe nahm, um etwas genauer zu betrachten wurde ich von einem Aufseher darauf hingewiesen, dass ich die Taschenlampe wieder ausschalten müsse.
Wie gesagt, ich gehe in ein Museum, um mir die Sachen auch etwas genauer anzusehen, was hier offensichtlich nicht erwünscht war.

Beautiful garden with a cool museum, it had an awesome interior design with a lot of interesting animals and sea creatures but something stuck with me, the only english bilboard i could find was in the toilet, i shouldnt be required to learn french to benefit from a gigantic nature museum like this, there were a lot of things and i was only able to look at them and pass without even being able to tell the difference

Tourists, beware! Tickets sold online are not guaranteed by the museum!
I bought a two for one ticket from the museum's official online ticket seller, which included one temporary and one permanent exhibition for 16 EUR. Separately, the tickets cost 13 EUR each. I paid and asked that the ticket be sent to me by email. I received a ticket for only the permanent exhibition (13 EUR)
At the door I explained the mistake and offered to pay the difference of three EUR, but the cashier would only offer to sell me another ticket for 13 euros, full price for the missing temporary exhibition ticket! She told me that the "official" ticketing agency, attached to the museum's website, was separate from the door tickets and that's she couldn't do anything about it.
I asked to see the manager, who told me the same thing. I asked to see HER manager, but he was "in a meeting". I find their obstinance ridiculous over the price of three euros.

Texte sind leider NUR auf Französisch verfasst, keinerlei andere Sprachen sind vertreten (nichtmal Englisch). Für Kinder ist das Museum sicherlich super geeignet, für Erwachsene mit naturwissenschaftlichen Interesse und gutem Basiswissen oder gar Biologiestudenten ist es wenig informativ. Wer wirklich etwas über die Entstehung der Arten lernen will, ist hier an der falschen Adresse. Schade, da das Gebäude innen wirklich toll ist.

Дивовижний музей! Заснований у 1793 році рішенням Національного конвенту. Велика кількість експонатів. Захоплююча подорож як для дітей, так і для дорослих.

带小朋友来参观，他们提出的问题，以后只能靠他们自己去解答了。17:00之后不能入场，博物馆按不同的类别，有好几栋楼，并不完全挨着，走路都不远，有底蕴积淀的专业人士可以早些来

Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Trop de spécimen et pas assez d'explications, pas de pédagogie. On a entassé les squelettes mais ils ne sont pas mis en valeur. Il vaudrait mieux privilégier la qualité à la quantité.

Un chouette musée à visiter, bien qu'il faille compter au minimum 1h30 pour tout visiter (et encore, c'est juste..)
Plusieurs étages consacrés à différents chapitres de l'évolution, le musée regorge de centaines de fossiles et squelettes, ainsi que de commentaires instructifs. Pour des novices de la biologie et anatomie, cela peut être très intéressant à découvrir.

Intéressant et éducatif mais ludique
Un musée très agréable, beaucoup de choses à voir, c'est ludique et accessible aux enfants comme aux adultes. Une sortie à faire sur Paris sans hésiter.

J'ai découvert cet endroit lorsque j'ai fait mes études à Paris, et c'est avec plaisir que je l'ai revisité. C'est impressionnant, autant pour les petits que pour les grands !

C'est une visite qui vaut le détour et il faut y consacrer la journée pour voir les différents pavillons. La Grande Galerie de l'Evolution est tout simplement magnifique, les jeux de lumières mettent très bien en valeur les animaux présentés et le fond sonore est très apprécié. A faire et à refaire!

Au contact de la diversité du vivant
Une institution sur l'ensemble du muséum et du Jardin des plantes à ne surtout pas manquer : la Grande galerie de l'évolution. La muséographie et la présentation des espèces et de la variété du vivant est magnifique. Les explications multimédia, les notices explicatives, sont très bien faites. On ressort émerveillé, mais aussi inquiet à l'idée de la grande fragilité de la vie sur notre petite terre.
